  Overall this is a decent hotel but below the average standard of Crowne Plazas in Europe and globally. Room was spacious, clean, well furnished and had all basic amenities and some extras (bathrobe, slippers, etc). Shower in particular was great! Service at reception and in breakfast was average at best and could be better. Breakfast itself had a great variety of dishes but the scrambled eggs tasted awful and industrial. Meat cuts were decent as were the vegetables. Took a while to get hot water for tea/coffee. If you get a special deal then it’s not a bad choice otherwise it’s not really worth it.

  This is disgusting and disgrace on the face of hotel business. No hotel at Heathrow charge for drop off. But they do. They have given contract to bigger scammer EURO car park. A 30 second drop off and £100 PCN at home. Never use this place I’ll never recommend this shameful place to anyone. Hotel management is total Shameful, unprofessional and rubbish.

  This is a rip off and I’m hoping that anyone considering staying here will see this review. My daughter-in-law had to pay a Heathrow pick up fee for her Uber and then As she was dropped off at the hotel, a drop off fee and finally when I picked her up from the hotel, I had to pay a pick up fee. It’s a complete scam and anyone considering staying should be aware. It’s maddening the ways they are extracting money. !!!!

  I would like to raise a concern regarding the drop-off and pickup charges at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Heathrow Terminal 4. As a private hire driver, I recently visited the hotel to pick up a passenger. I was surprised to discover that there is no grace period whatsoever for short stays. I was charged £100 despite being there only for a few minutes, which I find unreasonable and disproportionate. It appears that the hotel has outsourced the management of these charges to a private company. However, from a customer and driver perspective, the lack of even a short grace period (such as 10–15 minutes) is both inconvenient and unfair. Situations like quick pickups should be accommodated without imposing such high fees. I would strongly encourage the hotel management to review this policy and work with the contracted company to introduce a reasonable grace period. This would not only improve the experience for drivers and guests but also help protect the hotel’s reputation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

  I am extremely disappointed with the management at this hotel. I received a £100 fine for a stay of exactly 3 minutes and 25 seconds (PCN 88811556360). The driver made a simple navigational error while looking for Terminal 4 and exited the hotel area immediately. Industry regulations (BPA Code Section 13.1) require a 5-minute grace period for drivers to read signs and leave. A 3-minute turnaround should never result in a fine. What makes this worse is the deceptive service from the hotel staff. I was told by a manager to email the PCN over and was promised a call back and help with the cancellation. I sent the email as requested, but nobody replied, and the promised call never came. When I finally chased them today, they completely changed their story and refused to help. It is predatory to allow a parking company to fine people £100 for a 3-minute mistake at your front door, and even worse for management to promise help and then ignore the customer. If you are traveling through Heathrow T4, be very careful—this hotel clearly does not value visitors or basic fairness. I expect the General Manager to step in and resolve this.
