The caravan wasn't cleaned properly, it had dried baked & assorted other food, under the bench for the table & underneath the sofa. We were meant to have towels, that didn't happen so bought 2 from lidl.
We had blasts of some else's music come through out caravan speakers.
We could hear loud music at night.
The driveway heading to the park, needs sorting out, as many big potholes that will damage your car.
Through all this, we did manage to enjoy most of our stay.

Just returned from a lovely mon-fri break at mill rythe. The mobile home was spotless , staff at reception were very welcoming and friendly . This is the third time I have been to this site with my elderly mum and her dog and she loves the peace and quiet of the area . I would definitely recommend a stay here

We stayed at Mill Rythe expecting a relaxing family holiday, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of the most disappointing holiday park experiences we’ve had. From the moment we walked into the caravan there was a strong dog smell that hit us straight away. The whole caravan felt tired and not properly cleaned before our arrival. The floors clearly hadn’t been swept properly as there was dirt and bits left around, and finding what looked like blood marks on the bed sheets was honestly disgusting and not something you expect when paying for a holiday. There was even blood around the toilet seat in the bathroom which completely put us off and made us question whether the caravan had been cleaned properly at all before we arrived.
The caravan also felt very basic for the price charged. Parts of it looked worn out and not maintained very well, and it just didn’t feel fresh or welcoming. We ended up feeling like we had to clean parts of it ourselves before properly settling in.
One of the biggest disappointments was the entertainment. We booked expecting evening entertainment and some atmosphere around the park, especially as that’s one of the main reasons people choose holiday parks. Instead, we were told entertainment had been cancelled because there weren’t enough people staying there. That completely ruined the evenings as there was basically nothing to do once it got later.
To make matters worse, the bar shut at 9pm which felt ridiculously early for a holiday park, and even the restaurant was closing around 8pm. It felt like everything on site was shutting down before the evening had even started. If you didn’t leave the park to find somewhere else to go, there was honestly nothing to do. The whole place became dead and quiet very quickly and there was no real holiday atmosphere at all.
Staff didn’t seem particularly bothered either and there wasn’t much communication about what was happening with the entertainment or facilities. For somewhere advertised as a family holiday destination, it felt poorly organised and lacking basic standards.
Overall the location itself is nice and the park has potential, but the cleanliness, lack of entertainment, early closing times and general atmosphere really let it down badly. It definitely did not feel worth the money we paid and we honestly wish we had booked elsewhere. Sadly we wouldn’t return or recommend it to friends or family unless major improvements are made.

Very bad customer service at the bar.. me and my family went into The Missing Squirrel for dinner and i went to order a drink… I was being served by a young man with glasses who kept walking away, laughing, and getting distracted by a young lady .. My wife also noticed that they kept going on their phones and acting unprofessionally around guests!!!
