  On site parking is a joke. It's almost never available. So make sure you find a place to park or you end up with ticket. No hot water in shower for 2 days. Other than that place is nice.

  Das Zimmer war gut und sauber. Das Frühstück war okay. Leider wurden ohne nachvollziehbaren Grund £15 von der Kreditkarte einbehalten. Das hinterlässt trotz des ansonsten angenehmen Aufenthalts einen negativen Eindruck.

  The hotel is set inside an old jute mill, so there’s plenty of Dundee’s industrial heritage surrounding the building, which gives it a bit of character. Overall though, the stay was fairly average. The room was decent enough, but housekeeping could have been better and the bed was a little too firm for my liking. One nice touch was the complimentary copy of The Beano — that definitely raised a smile. The buffet breakfast was disappointing overall. The hot food was pretty average, and bizarrely, the bread didn’t even fit properly in the toaster. That said, all the staff we dealt with were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Parking was another downside. We had an accessible room for my disabled partner and used a disabled parking space, but it still cost £15 overnight, which felt excessive.

  Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We booked this hotel because it was close to the city centre; however, our plans did not go as expected. ROOM SERVICE still not been done by around 4 o’clock in the afternoon when we returned to the room to get ready for our dinner out!! Because of this delay, we ended up running late for our plans! To make matters worse, the lift was broken, which wasted another 10–15 minutes. WHEN WE CHECKED OUT, WE HAD TO CARRY OUR HEAVY LUGGAGE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE STAIRS OURSELVES. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Great hotel. The Staybridge suites have a kitchenette with cooking facilities, sink and fridge so you can self cater or stock up for your preferred snacks and drinks. 5-10min walk from Dundee city centre, and 5mins from bus and train stations. Staff are sound
