First time staying in a Ramada Hotel and for the price it was brilliant and exactly what you expect! We booked through Expedia and, unfortunately, there was a £5 parking fee but we found out that if you booked directly it was free. Despite this check-in was smooth, although a couple got assigned our room at reception and we got a surprise room entrance from them but the Receptionist soon sorted that out for us.
We had planned to eat on-site but the prices were rather steep and we would have been the only customers… fancied a 10 minute drive to a Harvester instead. The Breakfast is brilliant value and looked tasty and fresh but decided against it as we didn’t pre-book.
We would stay here again, the rooms have small bathrooms but big enough for two! Bed was comfy and plenty of room amenities.

This stopover hotel is in a different league from any other I have ever stayed in, and that's a lot. Absolutely superb service, friendly and helpful, incredibly comfortable beds - so much so that I overslept - remarkably quiet considering it's on the M6. Very welcoming of our dog, with a lovely green space behind it that meant my dog could walk safely and have a lovely leg stretch before our onward journey. Immensely good value. All together a really positive experience and I'm very grateful.

Very reasonably priced stop off on the way north. Rooms get hot but a fan is provided. Make sure to register your car at reception for the free parking. Breakfast buffet is reasonable but probably wouldn’t get it again. Staff all lovely.

For £35 the room was ideal a little tired but still very good value for money, the food in the restaurant was first class. Alex the waiter barman receptionist was first class! A very switched on young man!

Had one of the worst experiences here.
Half of the time, no one was at reception.
The deposit taken was too high (and absolutely unreasonable).
During check-in, I was only asked about my car registration (but I didn’t drive). Despite letting them know about my guests visiting, we weren’t asked to register the cars. My guests have been unfairly charged and penalised for the parking, especially when it’s not their fault. Upon asking for the withdrawal of charges, reception said it’s nothing they can help with (when it clearly should be as the space belongs to them?).
Secondly, I had to remind about the housekeeping more than thrice until it was actually done. No stocks (condiments) filled in the room. Had to go back and forth to the reception to get essential coffee supplies.
Lastly, no lift in the whole damn hotel. Me and my guests had to pick multiple luggages turn by turn to the next floor. It was nothing less than a nightmare.
The whole stay was tiresome and unfulfilling.
Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
As Ramada, I’m sure , you guys can do better
