  Stayed here for two nights. The staff make this place. All the staff, right from the staff on the carpark to the staff who do breakfast are so friendly, polite and helpful. Special shout-out to the man on reception, (tall slim and glasses) who couldn't do enough for you. Thank you for my veggie sausages.....you are a credit to holiday inn and the epitomy of amazing customer service. Breakfast fantastic.....lovely bar area, and rooms very comfortable. Only negatives were that the beds were hard and more storage space for clothes would be beneficial. However the hotel was lovely and we will Def return. Well done holiday inn...in our opinion you are rivaling Premier inn and we enjoy our stays with you.

  We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were fantastic and really looked after us. The food quality at breakfast wasn't the best and the beds were pretty small, but the staff really made the place stand out.

  Rooms are super small with no space for clothing. The rooms have no wardrobes nor simple drawers. Staff are fantastic, especially Stephen in reception couldn't be any more helpful. Hotel is in a perfect spot. 10mins walking from historic city centre and 10mins to Wales. People are friendly

  We stayed there for a family weekend in mid April and to be fair, the place was really good. The room was spotless and very well equipped as well as being very comfortable. The location was also great for what we planned to do in the city. Price paid demonstrated excellent value for money. The breakfast was also top notch, but as they didn’t have a restaurant we had to eat elsewhere in the evening, which wasn’t a big issue. Some of the staff were very strict as when I had a hypo in the evening and I asked whether I could get some cereal from the stock that was in the bar, I was point blank refused despite offering to buy it. It was a bit disappointing to be treated like that but I guess it was my problem to solve not theirs. After a bit of a panic I was able to get something for the hypo, and all was well. Overall though, a good stay and would definitely go back.

  Hotel was nice and very worth it for the price. The staff were all lovely, attentive and even remembered our room number. When we went down for breakfast, they had reserved a table for us with a high chair right next to the food which was very thoughtful and appreciated as we had our baby with us. The rooms are simple and clean. They could maybe do with updating but for the price I was very happy with it. Next time I visit I will probably stay here again.
