We recently had a lovely stay. We weren’t there long enough to see and use all of the facilities but our room was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Raj was so helpful over the phone answering my queries before our arrival and went above and beyond when we checked in.

I had a wonderful stay and the location was very convenient. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the spa area was definitely a highlight. Special thanks to George for the excellent check-in and to Varya for the professional and helpful check-out. I will definitely come back again! Regards, Matei

Enjoyed a great stay last weekend in this hotel, highly recommended. I was greeted by a lovely guy George on reception who explained everything I needed to know about my stay in the hotel. First impressions were great and I had a lovely room. The hotel has a courtyard area in the middle that rooms look out onto, and this adds to making the restaurant a lovely space to enjoy time in. I was particularly surprised to find poached eggs readily available at breakfast, and enjoyed a workout in a well equipped gym. I do not remember her name but a female receptionist gave me a list of places to visit, as I mentioned I had come to see somewhere new. I left very impressed with this hotel and will definitely be back.

I have stayed at this hotel on and off for several years, but unfortunately, I am now reconsidering future visits. Here is a breakdown of why: The Parking "Surcharge": The most significant change is the new £7.50 daily parking charge. Since the hotel is located in a quiet residential area with no local attractions or shops nearby, this feels like an unnecessary "hidden" tax on your stay. If you’re booking, make sure to add this cost to your daily tariff. The Room Experience: The Good: The rooms are generally clean and acceptable. The Bad: The beds are quite firm, which may not suit everyone. The Inconsistent: Over the last two years, I’ve had to request room changes twice due to persistent, unpleasant odors. While the staff were helpful and facilitated the moves without issue, it’s a gamble you shouldn't have to take. Dining & Location: The food quality is average for the price point. Because the hotel is somewhat isolated with no alternative dining options within walking distance, you are effectively a "captive audience." Pro Tip: Save your money and use Deliveroo—the selection is better and often more cost-effective. Final Verdict: Would I recommend it? Likely not anymore. With the new parking fees and the lack of local amenities, there are now cheaper, more convenient alternatives closer to the main town. It’s a shame, as I’ve enjoyed my routine here, but the value for money is no longer there.
