  Not bad for the price. Rooms were ok and pretty quiet. However, breakfast service was chaotic (albeit we came down at ‘peak time’). Every table was full of dirty plates and cups, no clean plates at breakfast area. Ran out of water and many breakfast items. That being said - staff were trying hard and franticly running around trying to rectify all the areas above. Not sure if they need to employ more staff to cover breakfast service or they need to adjust how they deliver it but it didn’t leave a great impression on us. Proximity to Swindon town centre was ideal - about a 10 min drive.

  Stayed here for one night and overall it was a decent experience. I arrived quite late in the evening but were still able to have dinner, which was very good. The room was basic. One important thing to note: if you use the hotel car park, make sure you register your licence plate, otherwise you may receive a fine. As I arrived late, I only noticed this the following morning. After explaining the situation, the staff were very friendly and helpful to make a note into their system. Breakfast was okay, although for my taste it was a little bland and could have had more flavour. Overall, a pleasant stay with helpful staff and good dinner options.

  We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Swindon West! We actually stayed back in July but I have only just got around to leaving a review. When we checked in, we were absolutely exhausted and the man on reception was an absolute breath of fresh air! He greeted us quickly, was extremely friendly and had a good laugh with us. After receiving our room key, we went up to have a nice hot shower and relax. The room had tea and coffee supplied, as well as milk. There was a working TV. The room was clean and the bed was fresh and crisp. The bathroom was similarly very clean. Good water pressure and lovely hot water. We asked for some recommendations of restaurants in the local area and the same man hwo checked us could not have been more helpful! Breakfast the next morning was incredible. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns etc, all cooked to perfection. Fresh fruit, toast and jams. Everything was monitored and topped up regularly. It was scorching hot. Good coffee machines too and a pancake machine! We stayed two nights and slept really well on both nights. There was a great air con machine. Breakfast was amazing on the second day too! It was super easy to check out.we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! The staff made this Holiday Inn as they were so nice!
