Will not stay again.
The bathroom tiles are super dirty.
Overall the hotel has a dirty look.

During our one week stay all of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast attendants!
The room was basic with very few "extras" but they did have feather pillows and toiletries available at the front desk upon request. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were very firm (too firm for me but most pillows are so I bring my own). Nobody else in my family thought they were too firm). The ac unit did make a high pitched whining noise that never went away, even after asking maintenance to look at it (we never heard back so not sure if they had a chance to look at it or not. Or if that is just normal for those specific units) but we did eventually adjust to it so it wasn't a big deal.
Breakfast was consistent and plentiful and the breakfast staff were so friendly and accommodating!
The hotel was a very easy walk to the train station and to coffee in the town centre. Swindon itself was the perfect central location to base our exploration of the surrounding areas out of! We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a nice location, just within working distance ( 4 mins) of the Swindon train station. Good staff, wonderful service, and a nice complimentary breakfast as well.

We stayed there 10 days and during this stay one of the elevators wasn't working and there are only two elevators that customers can use. And the hotel staff is using the customer elevator to carry heavy stuff so you can say that there is an "elevator jam" often. The hair dryer in our room wasn't working and we tried to get it fixed like 4 or 5 times in different days but no one helped. In the end reception gave us a seperate hair dryer. On our checkout day, when we tried to enter our room at 10.59, our card denied entry.

AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN - the manager insisted we make the booking and wanted us to drive 170 miles in a heatwave of 33C-35C with a child suffering from heat exhaustion who needed professional medical help. It was the hottest May day on record and I contacted the hotel to cancel. But they refused my appeal. We had to go to a nearby Airbnb instead. IHG still refuses to fully refund. The customer service is the worse ever by a hotel chain. They apologise but do nothing and genuinely do not care about families. To note: I am an IHG member so do not make these comments lightly.
