  Arrived late but just in time to order a Chinese, actually the lovely receptionist Helen ordered it for us, then got us some plates, Cutlery and Napkins and offered us the dining room to eat in. Every Premier Inn needs a Helen, hands down the friendliest, most helpful receptionist we have been greeted by in any hotel.

  On short break. 2nd year staying here. Room was very good, very clean and modern.Only small drawback was no set of draws. Breakfast was excellent. The waitress (young woman) was brilliant.Very friendly and helpful. Gave great service. Food very well cooked as well.In fact all hotel staff friendly and helpful. Thank you everyone. Michael & Anne.

  Just want to say some things make a difference.. My 5 out of 5 review is for the staff and how they run that hotel. Just stayed here for 2 nights.. We were booking to attend a fellow veterans funeral. 6 of us booked rooms.... Very disappointed with premier inn as a whole, all six couples who booked rooms all got the same email offering free breakfast next time we book. We all thought that was unfair...contact was made with head office ..but they refused us free breakfast it was only offered next time we book. Premier Inn you could have honoured the free breakfast at least. Felt hard done by to say the least. Back to the hotel...very friendly smiley staff....couldn't do enough for us, need to mention how we were looked after by BROOKE AND ASHER ..they didn't have the authority to allow free breakfast as much as the management didn't. Difference between booking again or going somewhere else..that we will all be thinking about.. Your staff there are doing the full customer service bit..keeping guests happy. Head office you need to lead by example..honour the little free things that will make your customers return Nigel Smith Falklands Veteran

  Had a bad experience travelling to hotel. Only because of road closures due to GNR. But we made it to a lovely clean hotel.

  Absolutely brilliant hotel. Reception and check-in so friendly. Room spotless. Location perfect for the metro into Newcastle or South Shields. Highly recommend.
