  What can I say, just amazing stuff and even better staff who gave me some special products behind the premier inn! Luxury comfy rooms and clean bathroom aswell as plenty of car parking spaces!! Would definitely come back!

  Hotel rooms great, air con excellent. Major issue is breakfast, they have turned Brewers Fayre in to a small Cafe that can't handle the amount of people staying there. Turned away hungry. Profiteering by Whitbread or whoever own premier inn. Dreadfull service. Had to eat in Greggs in service station , which was actually good.

  Great location for alton towers BUT I'm beyond appalled from the shocking behaviour of the staff rude, disorganised, disrespectful and just lacking in any sort of customer service room was messy and toilet still had marks from previous guests and ac rattled like it was about to explode, breakfast was cold/lukewarm and choices were limited when asked for a pancake or toast saw staff/duty manager remove from freezer then microwave and to test if was warm used her bare hands that she frequently used to fix her greasy hair and scratch her face absolutely disgusting refused to eat and told her the reasons she genuinely responded with thats the procedure all I will say is yes use for a bed for the location DO NOT EAT HERE and keep limited communication with staff appalled and rather baffled

  Do not get food in The Social, we are still sitting here waiting for our food after 55 minutes… asked how long it would be and go told another 5-10 minutes. Watched the kitchen re-order the covers after someone else complained, so if you do come here for food, immediately tell them you are in a rush and you may get served within the hour if you are lucky. In fairness we did get a free drink after we complained, but it’s just not good enough. Just go to the Burger King or Greggs over the road. Hotel itself is standard.

  It's been over two weeks since I attempted to check into the Premier Inn in Uttoxeter. I arrived at 6:15 pm for a business trip and was told to return after 8pm to check in as they were short staffed and didn't t have a room available dipsite check in being available for 3pm. I wanted to shower and change for a meeting at 7pm. I told them to cancel the room I'd paid £144 for one night if I couldn't access it. I asked for a refund and was told that the personal on reception didn't have the authority for this and I would need to speak to the Manager. I asked to speak to the Manager and was informed he was now the chief in the kitchen of the attached pub and would refuse to leave to speak to me even if I asked. I have contacted Guest relations three times, asking for a refund as I couldn't stay in a room that was not available. They have not resolved my complaint, despite promising to do so in five working days, and I am still £144 out of pocket for a room that was not available to check into at 6:30 pm. Awful, terrible service and lack of resolution for their poorly staff / managed hotel. Avoid at all costs.
