- PWPeter WrightJun 14, 20263.0It's ok for a purple palace, after waiting in the restaurant for over an hour (booked table) no order taken or even asked if I wanted a drink TERRIBLE SERVICE in the "Social" not staying here again. Maybe that was why the room was cheaper than other locations.

The tasty stack burger in the social bar was very good too! No complaints here great value will stay again when I visit Travelworld.

This is an ongoing problem since covid and I blame the management and greed of the business. The room i stayed in at this one was on the bottom end of the scale, window hanging off, curtains only had a couple of hooks, black mould in the bathroom and someone else's hair in the bed...nice. This one has the premier inn own restaurant which is average but at least the floors clean.
- RSRoaming ScottJun 1, 20261.0Had dinner while staying in the Hurricane across the road. Seated after waiting 15mins. Then never had a waitress near us for an hour. After a further 40min wait, my main arrived (clearly left under a warmer) and with no sign of the starter. My friends main was not even registered and had to be re ordered on the spot. There did seem to be at least 4 waiting staff who seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves than serve and it wasn’t exactly packed. Incredibly disappointed. I expected better from an English hotel.
