- IGIan GatensOct 5, 20264.0No AC means the rooms get very warm (26°c) and little you can do to remedy this. Staff are proficient, the breakfast is good and plentiful, the kitchen staff great. The hotel said it had been upgraded, but I was in same room as my last visit a year ago and no improvements were to be seen. Very good location just off the motorway and 5 mins drive from the town centre and good access in all directions. The adjacent bar and restaurant are very handy too and well worth a visit, as is the nearby Chinese buffet restaurant.

- JDJohn DemersSep 28, 20262.0Don’t have the rooms overlooking the busy roundabout if you’re a light sleeper. Every lorry was not only noisy on the roundabout but vibrated the whole room. There is a constant stream of them so going on all night. Staff were polite but said I couldn’t be moved. I’m typing this at 3:30am as pointless trying to sleep. It’s that bad I may try to get an hour of sleep in the car!
