  We had a great night stay here as part of the Alton towers short break! Ollie on reception was amazing. He was so friendly and had a huge smile on his face even when we checked in at 9pm. My sister wasn't feeling well and he was kind enough to book us an additional room at no extra cost so she had the space alone to rest and feel better. He made us feel so at home straight away. Definitely deserves a pay rise!! The rooms were lovely and cosy and had the best night sleep! Breakfast buffet was great as well, and the free snack/drink included was very appreciated. Would highly recommend!

  This hotel has a lovely warm pool and jacuzzi and is very good value for money with free parking

  Really impressed with this hotel which we used for a nearby triathlon. Staff went out of their way to help us and our family and were really friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities and a comfortable and quiet night sleep. Thank you

  I rarely feel compelled to write a review like this, but one member of staff at Holiday Inn Stoke on Trent M6, Jct.15 deserves to be recognised. On Saturday 29 August, my mum, Nazrine Akhtar, became extremely unwell while we were nearby. We later discovered she was suffering a heart attack and she was taken by ambulance to Royal Stoke University Hospital, where she required emergency cardiac treatment and coronary stents. Before the ambulance arrived, Ollie at the Holiday Inn showed our family a level of compassion we will never forget. He immediately recognised our distress, allowed my mum to use the hotel facilities, provided water for her and our family, checked on her welfare and even offered her somewhere to rest completely free of charge while we waited for the ambulance. At that moment, Ollie wasn’t simply providing good customer service — he was showing genuine humanity to a frightened family and a seriously unwell woman. When someone you love is in danger, these acts of kindness mean more than words can explain. Thankfully, our mum survived and is now back home with us. Ollie, if you ever read this: our mum made it. She is a mother to five daughters and a son, and grandmother to a whole heap of grandchildren. Our entire family will remember the kindness you showed her before the ambulance arrived. Holiday Inn and IHG should be incredibly proud to have someone like Ollie representing them. I sincerely hope his management formally recognises him for what he did. Thank you, Ollie. You were there for our family during one of the most frightening moments of our lives, and we will never forget your compassion. Some things go beyond hospitality. What you showed us that evening was humanity. ❤️
