  Right off the M6 stopped there as we were going to a concert at Trentham just 2 miles down the road. The Premier Inn Trentham were charging £100 more per night! The hotel is a bit tired but is very clean and the staff are so lovely glad I stayed there.

  Very helpful and kind staff when I stopped by for rest from the M6. Lunch was very much needed & tasted good! Relieved they also told me to put my car reg in so I didn’t get fined. Thank you all for being so friendly and helpful. I rated your rooms 5stars even though I didn’t stay over ☺️

  We stayed here as a base for Alton Towers (about a 42 min drive with traffic). It's a great location, but the stand outs were the great staff - particularly on reception- and the food. Breakfast had a reasonable choice and the evening meals, were a great value for money, particularly for the kids. Rooms are slighlty dated, but, couldn't really complain as the service made up for this.

  Despite looking close to Alton Towers by miles count it was a 45-50 min journey for us. Not the hotels fault really but I wish we checked. The night staff dropped the ball with a simple request for a pillow the first night though and then the second night someone who I can only imagine was or is used to thinking they are in charge picked up our half full drinks and walked off while we played some Foosball. When I stopped him instead of apologizing or anything else I would think someone in hospitality would do he said with his back to me like he was my dad "yeah....you can't have them there." There being a dirty plastic sealed wood cabinet that was the only place you could put anything for 30 feet. I politely said that I had looked for a coaster and if one was around I would of used it and if no drinks were to be had in the area someone could of said. Funny part was I didn't like having my drink on that dirty cabinet thing in the first place for my sake. Just remember folks. How someone handles the small stuff says a lot about everything else and that guy has NO buisness in hospitality. My experience. For what its worth. One love.

  Avoid like the plague. We booked 8 weeks in advance but when we arrived they did not have rooms available. They initially blamed us for booking only 30 minutes in advance, and I had to show them emails to prove this wrong. They then blamed the new booking system and started trying t After wasting time, we just decided to cancel the booking. They confirmed a full refund. But they then took payment for rooms they could not provide... the mismanagement is borderline criminal.
