A straight forward no fuss hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff, had a question the staff member wasnt sure about, she called the manager and he came out with a smile and assured me all is in order. Then later needed an iron and the brought it up to the room. They go out of their way to assist. The location is tops as well, close to everything but still in a quiet area. Would definitely go back with a smile. The food also far exceeded my expectations!!

I am just departing after a 5 night stay, most of which was fine. The room is sparce but clean, and I am fine with that. The staffing on the other hand, is clearly overwhelmed at the best of times and when things go pear-shaped, then this problem is quickly magnified. The problem came on Thursday night, when the fire alarm went off. It seems to have been caused by a fault in the electrical panel. As I arrived on Monday, the panel was being worked on, but I thought nothing of it. So I rallied with other patrons out front in 8c weather until I gave up and went looking for a pint. The bell continued to ring all night, though fortunately at some point the klaxons were silenced. Leaving the next morning, I was getting into the shower, when I realized the hot water boiler had also being affected. So no hot shower before checkout, I have a train to a flight to catch. That's my experience. Hopefully yours is as uneventful as mine was the first 4 days and you will have a basic, bog standard hotel experience you will have forgotten about on your way to somewhere genuinely exciting. Myself, I will be considering other options the next time I'm in town.

We stayed as a large family group for a wedding & the staff were very helpful & friendly. Two of the party were under 2 so a high chair & a booster chair were provided. As Lenny Henry says the bed was a bed for sleeping, extra pillows if required, an ironing board/iron provided if required. Location wise the Lichfield City Centre Premier Inn is bang on spot for getting to the pedestrian area of the city, the cathedral & the excellent park.

What can I say, the staff were excellent and did everything they could to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I must mention miss J and her offer of her “special extras “ over breakfast was most pleasing and her efforts to provide unrivalled levels of service were exceptional the Irish butter came in very nicely !!. Think I may ask miss J for some “special extras” in the shower on my next visit 😜 once again top marks all round 😊 (If you could advise me of miss J’s number it would be greatly appreciated)

I stayed here recently and was more than surprised with my stay. Not only is the hotel ideally located for the city centre the experience was amazing. The staff were helpful and welcoming and I was helped during check in and with my wifi by the manager (Shanon I think?). Helpful and polite with some who is technically challenged. I use Premier Inns all over the country for business, but must admit, this visit stands out. I would highly recommend the hotel and staff.
