  Well what can I say exceptional service from Michelle, our member has broken down and awaiting a tyre fitter. Michelle has gone above and beyond to look after our member with coffee biscuits, well done Michelle thanks from the AA all the best Daz. RSA patrol.

  I have stayed at most of the Premier Inns around Derby and Burton. This was my favourite All of the hotels are clean, and basically have the same facilities and food. In some the rooms are a bit more dated and the showers are varying There are two things that elevate this hotel to the top 1. The Staff. Friendly and engaging, in some of the hotels you sometimes feel sorry that you spoke, but not here. You sense they will help in any way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable 2. The windows open, such joy, fresh air, a lot of the hotels suffer due to the lack of it

  Visiting family so location was great! The service from Rafal and Michelle was excellent from checking in, through dinner and to retiring to bed.... simply brilliant! Thank you! Only issue was no heating in the room ☹️

  The only real positive feedback I can leave for this very tired, understaffed and shabby hotel are the overworked staff. I found Alison on reception to be very pleasant and most helpful. Also, the young gentleman from Poland who wears three hats. One for reception, one for barman and one for table waiter. All tasks which he carries out very well. Even though he works very long hours, he is very cheerful and helpful.

  We were warmly greeted by Alison and Kerry who were very helpful throughout our two night stay. The hotel could do with a little TLC as looking tired in places. The pub/restaurant next door is a very pleasant environment and again could do with some TLC to make it perfect. The only constructive criticism would be that the barman/waiter next door should be more appropriately dressed (shirt & trousers) when serving customers rather than casual jeans and football top. That said we would definitely stay again.
