A Premier Inn, it does exactly what it says on the tin! Nice, quiet, comfy rooms. Friendly helpful staff and inexpensive rates.

Took 1hr and 20 mins between 2 starters and 2 desserts with no mains. Altogether was sat inside the bar area for 1hr 50 mins. Not sure how they would cope if they were busy.

Great staff, rooms at a good standard. Currently building work going on around hotel, but noise stops by night. Overall would recommend 👍🏼

hotel is currently undergoing some renovation works, speaking to Callan who couldn't do anything more and was brilliant, explained that its part of the businesses plan to integrate everything, and that at burton it would become another 40 or so rooms, the hotel is clean and ideally located just away from the town centre but a simple enough walk, the facilities were great and have their own restaurant within the hotel with compliments to the chef as our evening meal was lovely, overall the hotel does look a bit scruff with the ongoing works however the team say this shouldn't be too much longer till its all completed, but all the team we encountered were amazing especially Callan who went above and beyond

No one in attendance on reception as no reception, just a machine to book on through and you program your own room card from your booking reference number. Usual Prem Inn room, acceptable but nothing note worthy. Stayed for 4 nights Mon to Fri and breakfast was flat cold every morning, so much so once i had plated up my choice of english breakfast I had to ask for it to he put in the microwave, there very good with microwaves! On Wednesday morning I noticed out of the 3 heat lamps that hang over the food to keep it warm only 1 was working, I pointed this out to the cook who claimed she didn't know, obviously by the way she grabbed hold of the metal pendant that with a redrad lamp inside should have been scolding hot, obviously she did know! Just be aware, as there's no mention on the website or when booking that the place is a building site, they have about doubled the size of the hotel or will have once complete, don't expect an early morning lay in, up with the builders! Will not rush back here.
