  Helpful staff and clean hotel. Breakfast buffet is good but limited. No fried eggs was a disappointment.

  We had a two-night stay to attend a local event. The staff are exceptionally cheerful and helpful. The breakfast buffet is well stocked and should cater for most diets. Once again, another hotel that does not have hot plates for the food, a pet hate of ours and this hotel is no exception. We didn’t take our evening meals there but, the menu looked uninspiring, to us. We had an ‘accessible’ room which was very comfortable and clean. We met our cleaner in the morning and again, she was very personable and helpful. The hotel is just off the A38 in Burton so, is excellent for transport links.

  Deducted a star because the food was awful. Loads of options nearby though.
