  Stayed for two nights during bloodstock. Ideal location and paid extra for parking (we didn't have any trouble finding a parking spot) Room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and the small bar was handy to grab a few drinks at. Breakfast was a little chaotic. Very small for the amount of people. Item(s) were not being replenished fast enough so both days I didn't manage any hashbrowns as the wait was too much. Coffee machine sounded like a death metal band that produced a fairly weak tasteless coffee. I'll likely stay again next year but will probably omit the breakfast.

  Convenient location and good service. Rooms are refurbished nicely but NO aircn so careful in peak summer as the rooms have little ventilation.

  Booked a double room with hot breakfast. On arriving for breakfast there was no hot food available. Just a queue of people waiting for hot food. Really poor organisation. If your hotel is fully booked make more food. People waiting around for ages to scramble to get the hot food when it was brought out 1 tray at a time. So you could get some bacon, but no sausages or egg. Or you could wait until the bacon went cold and then go back 15 mins later to get eggs. Very poor. Wouldn't go back to this hotel.

  We stayed here one night. (we were going to a wedding at Hanbury Barns wedding venue the next day). The holiday inn express carpark charge £5 a night, we found the staff very helpful. The standard room we stayed in was clean but I can't understand why you'd have a queen size bed taking up all the room, it didn't leave much room by the one side of the bed near the window. The room did not have a desk/dressing table, just a small table. There was an iron, ironing board & hairdryer. We decided to eat in their cafe/restaurant/bar after a long day travelling. The menu wasn't great but it was better than having to go out. My husband was able to have draft beer so he was happy. Overall for the money we paid i can't complain. I would use the hotel again.
