  I found several used "protective balloons" in my room when I first got in there and there was also public hair in the show drain and the window wasn't locking

  Stayed 3 nights Sunday to Wednesday. Hotel looked good on first looks we booked a standard room a small double with two bunk beds. The double bed was uncomfortable felt like I was going to fall out of the bed as the mattress was well used. The bunk beds had thin mattress onto so didn't fell great. Breakfast was a manic at times food was low quality considering the overall price of the stay. Entertainment wasn't great one night a guy just put out wooden blocks for the kids and that was it. The music god know why it had to be so loud even at Breakfast with all the other noise you practically had to shout. The general service was fine from the staff no issues there. Ev chargers definitely a plus for me as an ev owner. The overall cleanest of the hotel is definitely questionable it felt dirty in places my found dirt and old packets on the top bunk. There was also a very destinked smell in our corridor of someone smoking weed which wasn't pleasant. Not the hotels fault. The evening food is overpriced and very bland. There's better options on a short drive away. The hotel would benefit from an early entry to the park and the late access to the splash park. Which id say it also overpriced considering the size of it. Overall I'd stay on site again but at another hotel.

  Ondermaats hotel. De kamer was oké, de bedden zijn wel wat klein. Na een kort dagje park (tot 16u) is er in dit hotel helemaal niets te doen. Er was geen entertainment, het waterpark sluit om 16u, het buffet was gesloten, geen cocktails meer in de bar (die trouwens heel sfeerloos is met veel te luide muziek) die ook vroeger sluit omdat het personeel geen zin meer had. Alsof gasten van dit hotel uren op hun kamer moesten gaan zitten. Dan maar in het andere hotel gaan eten met live entertainment en een leuke bar. Geen leuke ervaring in dit hotel, het ontbijt was wel goed.

  Ridiculously overpriced. The whole idea was that we could spend all day at the theme park, then when it closes at 4pm we head back to the hotel and use the pool.... Nope the pool also closes at 4pm. So there is absolutely nothing to do at the hotel. Why not have a drink in the bar... £8.75 a pint of cider. Can't afford many of them at that price. Can't see any reason at all to stay here. Kids bored, no entertainment, nothing going on, what is the point of staying here compared to staying at a pub hotel nearby for half the price of rooms and then food and drink too. You don't even get early/late access to the theme park anymore, so there's literally no reason or benefit to staying at the theme park hotel as far as I can see!! Will not be coming back!

  My experience at splash landings was amazing.i loved the slide where you could change the music and there was a whole bit dedicated to toddlers.i am truly surprised with how good this water park is.we only stayed for a day,but I realised that this park isn't your standard water park.its a premium water park which has thrilling slides,a kids area,and much more.thank you,Alton towers for making such a excellent experience for me and my mum,my mums bf and little brother.i truly love how much dedication was put into every detail at that water park. (p.s:im never going to moorways or water meadows again)
