  Disappointing quality of accommodation for the cost. Mattress/bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Bathroom smelled of urine. Shower hose leaked. Toilet was broken and wouldn't flush. Staff weren't interested and said we should just report it on an app and they couldn't do anything.

  Really didn’t want to have to be writing this review. I’ve been coming to alton towers annually since I was a small child and this recent visit was one of the worst stays and experiences I’ve ever had. Both me and my boyfriend saved up for a long time, travelled for hours and were so excited for our stay in the enchanted village accommodation and visit the theme park. Upon arrival our mini fridge was leaking water heavily, so we called reception and they replaced it and it was STILL leaking causing me to slip in the morning. They told me it’s because ice was in the freezer compartment but that doesn't explain the water on arrival? The worst part of our stay though was the fact a rowdy group of men on a stag do were staying next door, which can be expected when going away somewhere and not the staffs fault. It was how it was dealt with that was the main issue. The group of men were heavily drinking and kept coming around to our lodge, making sexual remarks towards me and saying abusive things to my boyfriend who has severe mental health and requires a lot of care from myself. They also were boasting about having illegal drugs in there room which is disgraceful to bring to a place like this where young children and families are. They kept knocking on out door making lude remarks all evening and night and we reported it to staff who told them to calm it down however they continued and the second night we genuinly felt scared and intimidated to go back to our accommodation incase they were there so had to stay in the hotel bar and lobby until it closed to spend some quiet time together to feel safe. We brought all of this up with reception twice upon leaving and I feel they had no empathy, didn’t seem to care and made us feel like they tolerated this kind of behaviour and they we weren’t valued as guests. The bottom line is I usually love alton towers resort and its a magical place but this particular time we felt scared, upset, uncomfortable (not emotions I want to feel when going on a break away) and like we’d spent a lot of money on a truly terrible stay. Lastly we also booked 2 days worth of tickets for the theme park and for some reason wern't given booking reference or information so had to buy ticket to enter AGAIN. We have been refunded for those tickets which im greatful for but doesnt make up for the experience we endures during our stay.

  Poor accommodation. Stale smell to the room. Bathroom was disgusting with mould all over the tiles joints and sealant. The entire resort is looking really tired and now what is used to be. Disappointed on the whole.

  Booked a two day get away with the Mrs as we don't usually come that often we purchased the two days pass payed extra 200 pound today for silver fast pass and purched the gold fast pass for the second day although very expensive it's very efficient had a slight issue when checking in to find out some places on site were closed due to not being to busy asked to speak to a manager and Demi and Luke came over within 5 minutes both offered an amazing friendly interaction listened to our little concern and instantly solved the issue without hesitation. So it goes without saying DEMI AND LUKE are both an absolute credit to this establishment and both need special recognition for the way they interact and solve any issues so thank you so much for that
