Had a one night stay with a 1 & 3yr old. Rooms abao fantastic cannot fault them and fully air conditioned!! Big win. Friendly welcomes and easy checking inn process. Characters in the lobby at certain times with some fun interactive buttons and some mini cars absolutely brilliant, big win!! Shows are okay the thought is certainly there, restaurant for dinner and breakfast is big and the food is good. Slightly on the pricey side but little ones eat free, expect £20-35 for a main adults meal. £8 for a pint is cheeky though. Would recommend and definitely return! Constructive criticism would be a park local to the hotel entrance there's nothing external for the kids to do which is a shame some other hotels on the site have multiple parks but long way away.

Our daughter loved the CBeebies theme, but as parents, we were utterly appalled by the systemic failures at this resort. For over £630 for a 2-night stay, the lack of basic care and maintenance is completely unacceptable. We have documented photographic evidence of:
A Serious GDPR Data Breach
At check-in, we were handed a recycled card holder containing the handwritten personal details and room number of a previous guest.
Severe Child Safety Hazards
Our room's broken fridge was "replaced" by shoving a standalone unit in the corner with heavy, live power cables stretched taut across the floor at toddler height.
Personal Injury
The bathtub was incredibly slick with no non-slip mat provided, resulting in a nasty physical slip and hard fall.
Gross Biohazard Negligence
Someone had an accident in the main elevator. After alerting staff, they simply placed a "Cleaning in Progress" sign over the sticky puddle of urine and left it entirely uncleaned for over 12 hours.
Basic Housekeeping Failures
We booked for 3 people but were repeatedly left with only 2 sets of towels by housekeeping.
The individual staff members from Windmill restaurant and night entertainment we encountered were very kind to our daughter, but the corporate management and maintenance of this hotel are a disgrace. We will never return to a Merlin resort. Parents beware.

Had a 1 night stay at the CBeebies Land Hotel in a Bugbies room. My kids absolutely loved their stay. They loved it all from the the interactive reception area to the lift, the room, the restaurant and the entertainment with discos and character meet and greets. The smiles on their faces made the 4.5 hour drive worth it. My only complaint is the cost of food and drinks. £8.25 for a pint is extortionate. Plus, at breakfast if you want anything more than an instant coffee you have to pay for Costa. I have never experienced this at any hotel, even the Premier Inn which we paid £52 for the night before provided a simple coffee machine that provided different coffee options. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

Beth was absolutely fantastic during our dinner at the CBeebies Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, she was friendly, welcoming, and brilliant with our children. She made the whole experience feel special, taking the time to interact with the kids and making sure they were smiling throughout the meal.
Her service was attentive, efficient, and genuinely caring. Despite how busy the restaurant was, Beth always checked in on us, made sure everything was perfect, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening.
She is a real credit to the team and played a huge part in making our family visit so memorable. Thank you, Beth, for helping create such magical memories for our children. We hope to see you again on our next visit!

Just returned from a one night stay here with my 5 and 2 year old and we had a wonderful time.
Firstly, cost, this is an expensive overnight stay. As Merlin Pass Holders we were able to book this ata better rate. In fact I don't think I would have booked it had I not been a pass holder. Having said that the minute you arrive to the moment you leave, the hotel theming is fantastic. It truly is magical for younger children as they step in to the "Cbeebies House".
The room was really spacious and clean. We stayed in the Bugbies room and the little touches like the play wall were a perfect touch.
As with other reviewers, the Windmill Restaurant is overpriced and very limited choice, particularly for the adults. Even with the passholder discount, it is very steep for what you get. But you sort of expect it with a place like this. Out server Beth though was fantastic. There were lots of birthday celebrations and each birthday guest recieved a song and dance from the team which was lovely. We did mention a birthday but sadly never reviewed our song and dance. Breakfast is cheap buffet style. What you would expect from a 3 star city hotel.
The evening entertainment was excellent and lots for children to do. And on check out I was thrilled to be given express parking for the theme park.
Overall, a really fantastic stay and we would book again (as long as we have our Merlins passes!)
