  Foul. How this place has 4.3 stars is beyond me. Changing rooms Clumps of hair on the floor, what looks like poo on the ceiling, people washing feet in sinks, unimaginable toilets with foot prints on the toilet bowl, plasters on the floor, mould on the walls, cramped, not enough changing rooms, no where near enough shower heads. Just a smelly sweaty hole. Water park Overcrowded, people do not adhere to the start and exit times and rip their bands off. Staff don’t care. 3 slides! No easy access to simple things like water to drink. Dirty, smelly and humid. It was more of a public bath with shiny bits than a water park. Drove 1hr 30mins to get there. Even my 6 year old wanted to leave. Left after 50 minutes. Save your money and don’t go, the place shouldn’t be associated to the theme park. Fingers crossed we dont get ill. If you’re going, get your jabs and good luck.

  I would advise to leave much earlier than you need to arrive because entrance to the parks bottle-necks and traffic becomes an absolute nightmare. 3 miles away from the park and it took 1 hour to clear it. Parking was easy enough once you arrive. The waterpark itself was wonderful. The time flies by so the 2.5hrs really doesn't seem like 2.5 hours. 3 big slides, lots of fun. For one slide, the queue was very long so we skipped it. One slide, kids of all ages can go on but under 8s must be accompanied but adults in their laps (flash floods) I think the 3rd is called ring blaster? Kids between 3 and 6 can accompany adults on their laps in the same ring and is a FAST slide. Water is nice and warm. There is an area which is about 0.6m deep and has a slide for little ones there and some play apparatus. The main water apparatus has all sorts of water features and showers and multiple levels. It leads to a pool that gets gradually deeper (1.25m at the deepest) There is a WAAAARM pool outside that is maintained at about 32 degrees. Glorious in the slightly cooler weather. Definitely fun for the kids.

  We have been here 4 times now. Always have such a fun time. The queuing system is a bit fussy but once you have your ring and are queuing for the water slide of your choice, you're off! The master blaster is the best in my opinion. Better as a double. Single is great fun but be prepared to be spun round. Flash Floods is great too. Especially if raining! Rush n Rampage is great and you are able to go around in a loop and have more goes. The lazy river. It disappointed me. Hardly any rubber rings to be lazy on. People were just 'walking around. Didn't quite work! The pools and water play areas were great. Especially for the younger ones. On some rides photos taken are an option. But at £20 for two, I think a bit steep for a few dark digital prints. Negatives: Having to pay £2.50 + for the little extra 'rides'. Like dodgems, go carts and dogems Plenty of places to get food and drinks.

  I had seen some of the recent reviews after booking and was dreading today but I was pleasantly suprised. There was a queue of traffic into the site and the parking was really busy with no parking attendants, questionable signage and lots of people driving against the arrows. This made us 30 minutes late for our 10:30am time slot. However, we were given an 11am wristband so didnt lose any time inside. Signage wasnt great but we found the hotel and headed in to the water park. The changing rooms were clean and definitely did NOT smell of urine. It was busy but we managed to get a locker and changing room straight away. The lockers take 20p and this comes back out at the end. The water park itself was busy but not over crowded. It is beautiful and very clean. We started with the master blaster and queued for about 40 minutes but it was so much fun it was worth the wait. We didnt queue more than 15 minutes for anything else all day. Our kids are 7 and 16 and they both loved it, as did we! We will definitely visit again. It seemed very organised.

  Tragically, Keiran was my first contact with a member of Alton Towers staff, and he had the title of ‘supervisor’ at the entrance turnstiles to the Alton Towers Waterpark. His behavior was completely unprofessional, argumentative, and unhelpful—an attitude you definitely do not need after driving 4.5 hours to get there. Instead of assisting guests, he was literally standing there arguing with customers and told me “you can wait in the queue like everyone else.” They should have at least 2 staff behind the payment desk so there is a minimal queue. He clearly needs to given his training in basic customer care.Most shockingly, if a customer expresses to you that they have a hidden disability, you do not argue with them. I explained my situation, and his counter-argument was claiming he has the exact same condition as me. If that is true, it should have made him more understanding of my situation—not give him an excuse to argue with me multiple times when I was directly asking for help. Because of his stubborn refusal to assist, he forced me to wait in a queue for 30 minutes just to obtain a spectator pass when he could have easily helped me right there (we purchased advance tickets but you cannot buy the spectator pass in advance). As a direct result, the rest of my party lost 30 minutes of their valuable time inside the waterpark.Once finally inside, the frustrating experience continued. There was literally nowhere to sit. People had dumped their bags and towels all over the tables and chairs, even though these items are supposed to be kept in lockers. I asked a member of staff for assistance, and while they said they would help, no help ever came because they were simply too busy.As a result, I had to sit outside and did not even get to spectate my family having fun in the overcrowded waterpark. It was a complete waste of £10 for a spectator ticket. Management really needs to address Keiran's attitude and staff need to make people leave their belongings in lockers.
