  Stayed here for Alton towers visit. Bathroom was dirty- brown stains on the walls, toilet paper dispenser and the toilet had not been cleaned. I informed the receptionist who was very understanding and kindly moved us to a different room and gave us a free breakfast. Unfortunately the room we were moved to also was not much better, again stains on bathroom walls and on the shower curtain. I did not complain again as it was late and I didn’t want to seem like a nuisance. Was quite disappointed with the cleanliness as I stay in premier inns a lot and they have always been spotless. Corridor leading up to the room wasn’t very clean either and had a funny smell. On a better note; the receptionists were both very friendly and helpful. Also breakfast staff friendly (in particular the chef lady and the man at the front who took our room number- sorry did not get there names) probably would not stay here again unfortunately as the cleanliness has put me off from booking here again.

  We stayed for one night in a premier plus room and in comparison to our friends standard room it was very small. No opening window and no fan the room was very hot. The bathroom was not brilliant on cleanliness, the grout and sealent need cleaning correctly. The desk was very badly chipped. The tea and coffee box was very dirty. To be honest 2 coffee pods, 2 tea bags, 4 milk and 2 bottles of water was not really enough. The prout on the kettle was covered in limescale. The shower door has been mounted the wrong was as the handle to open the door is on the inside and the wrong side so it's towards the shower head. The pamphlets on the desk were very dirty with what looked like food. On positives the staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely and fresh and the food areas were kept very clean.

  Rooms are very nice, people at the counter as well. Housekeeping needs to be ordered or will be done automatically after 4 days. That's fine for me, but I expect a cleaned room after asking for it. It was forgotten once, but that should not happen as new towels are coming with the housekeeping. Besides that, everyone in the service team is absolute gold. Super friendly and helpful. When I had medical issues they helped me finding the correct hospital :) thank you again! Around the hotel you find nice spots to eat, walk and have adventures like the monkey forest.

  Have stayed in this hotel numerous times over years most recent being this week. Rooms starting show signs of general wear and tear with lack of cleanliness + housekeeping left alot to be desired. Carpet in room heavily stained, loads of scuffs on headboard along with table unit flaking away. Tea + coffee not replenished when cleaned after previous customers left. Along with 1 single small towel and half a toilet roll without any spare of both being left for 2 adults for 4 days.😒 Windowsills on stairway caked in dust and whatever else 🤢. Come on premier inn sort your staff out and give the customer the service they rightly deserve after paying hundreds of pounds to stay here and in a premier plus room aswell which is meant be the highest rated room type. This time round my experience was anything but that!

  Found the hotel quite hard to locate. No signposting. Although the room appeared clean there were two random objects on the floor which would indicate that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Only one pillow on the bed, although I believe there were others in storage bags. Only one hand towel and one bath towel for two people. Although there were.others in a service room on the ground floor. No tissues and no decaf coffee. Only One chair so had to sit on bed. Table at breakfast had not been cleaned and thick layer of dust on shelves. So not as clean as it initially appeared. The hotel’s response when I took the socks and water filled balloon found on room floor to them was great though. They reimbursed us for breakfast. If visiting Stoke again I probably wouldn’t stay here
