  When you first walk in you think woooow this is awsome . Theirs water park themed fountains everywhere and an arcade. You head to your room and when i say its like stepping back into the 60s im not exaggerating 😩. Awful dirty beds dirty bathroom and old 60s looking interior design. Our electric and lights went off within the first 5 minutes of being their and it took them an hour to get them back on again . The heating also didnt work which was finally sorted around 10pm that night . Food was horrendous and under cooked . All in all very overpriced for the experience we payed . And also if you want to go to the water park that is not included in your hotel stay its an extra £25 per person so be prepared to pay extra . Really terrible experience and we travelled from devon for this treat for our sons 10th birthday. Wont be returning. And complaints team havent even had the decency to respond.

  It was very expensive with only decent food but a cool room. You also had to pay more for the Waterpark which I thought was included

  Stayed here for two nights during the week. The reception staff on check in were friendly, but felt anyone we met after that really didn't want to be there. Rooms were tired looking and in need of some updating. Food at breakfast was poor quality and not much fresh fruit options available. Food in the bar in the evening is limited and processed, so we opted to eat in the town Alton, which I highly recommend. Waterpark was ok, but a bit expensive compared to the price of paying into CBeebies land. If we were going back, we would stay in the main Alton Towers hotel as the staff are friendlier and the hotel feels a lot cleaner. Location wise it is the closest hotel to the park, but the others are only a 5 minute extra walk.

  We had a fine two nights for the kids. Breakfast and dinner buffet was less than average we would be appreciative if more halal food was available! The staff were great and friendly! it was only the time we booked that was crowded at easter break and unfortunately our room was the first in the hallway so more noise and less good sleeping from the residents. I did faced some bad behaviors from little kids cursing and raising their fingers walking alone in the hotel ! It would be helpful that you have more staff to better control especially in holidays
