- JGJ G2 days ago5.0Had a great overnight stay! Alex at reception was absolutely fabulous, so welcoming and greeted us with a lovely smile. Her friendly approach really made our stay extra special. Thank you, Alex! We’ll definitely be coming back again. 😊 The room as others have mentioned could do with a deep clean especially the hallway carpets etc as they smell of smoke. Other than that was fine for a one night stay. Very quiet area away from the main road.

They make our annual visit very welcoming and calm. Evening food and staff in pub next door are great. Morning staff at pub need retraining in basic manners, but don’t let pub issues affect your hotel stay!

The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The only thing I’d say is that the shower area is looking a little dated and could do with a refresh or refurbishment soon. Overall, a good stay and I’d happily stay here again.

- RRrae rendellSep 15, 20263.0Nice clean comfy bed. Not the cleanest room with some significant cobwebs on the ceiling above the bed & dirt in the corners. My biggest recommendation would be to avoid eating at the Fairmile next door. Very poorly run,only 1 beer available on the day we visited, served us cold food ( pie & lasagne not salad) inedible veg. Some basic mains also not available. Worse was the sour stale smell. The whole site needs a good refurb.
