What a beautiful place. Room was excellent, roomy, had everything you need. Lighting was something else, you got to stay to try. The shower was amazing, very big however be careful when getting out. Can be really slippery. Needs grab rails, expecially for disabled and a seat.. Not much t bags, sugar or milk supplied. Had coffee machine but didn't use. Bed was big and so comfortable but so high, need a step ladder to get on it (if your short). Will definitely stay again.
We had meal deal and the food was really tasty and a bargain. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.

Wow...not only upon arrival was I greeted with an attitude of a troll telling me to get off his bridge but the basic fact of directing me to the correct hallway that would take me to my room during refurbishment was blatantly ridiculous...I mean you're currently working with drills and other loud tools in the background and you can't tell me the hallway you would usually take is blocked off at the very top of stairs 🙄 being pregnant means you will drop a lung going up and down just to be told the proper directions to your room which should have been given on arrival and god forbid you do ask and become an inconvenience. However the girl over the road in the social had lovely service and really made the stay worth it, fact is if you do want food the usual wait is about 30 mins to an hour after your order has been put through and won't be on time. Unfortunately grumpy man kept paying visits to the restaurant to give the girl hassle and tell her he forgot to tell her things but she must do what he says. Anyway I think his name is Paul so if you have the pleasure of meeting him...I suggest run, or find your own way around the hotel and don't ask questions.
