The hotel is not bad. The staff is very lovely and helpful. The problem is the temperature inside the rooms. I'm currently on the 3rd night of a 5 nights stay here, and the temperature inside the room hasn't lowered from 27,5 degrees during the night, even when outside it's around 18 degrees, which is the case right now. I have two fans inside the room, that helps a bit, but as we all know, fans don't lower the temperature, still so warm it's impossible to have a proper night of sleep. The solution could be having aircon, but please don't seal the windows as other hotels are doing, that would just create other problems. It's not hard to ventilate properly a building like this, it just takes some proper management taking the right decisions. Right now, the temperature inside the rooms is unacceptable.

Not our best experience. Check in was okay, the self service kiosks were not working but we were served straight away. Went to our room and oh my god it was literally stepping into an oven. The room was so hot, it was unbearable. Considering the fan was already on, that’s saying something. There was even a sign downstairs advising guests that if they’re too hot, they can ask for thinner sheets - which is what we did. Considering they took the time to put this sign up in a case, shows how much of a problem the heat is. We weren’t able to move the fan as it was secured to the table so we had to get a second fan so all of us could stay cool. The room was a serious safety issue but there was no point in mentioning it to the staff as all they would have done was apologise. They couldn’t reduce the heat. We had a rubbish night sleep as it was so hot. The temperature stayed between 29-31C overnight. I took a shower at 2am to cool down and was air dry within 4 minutes after getting out. That’s how hot it was. My partner even suggested we sleep in the car as it was much cooler outside. Breakfast was okay, good food, good service. What let this stay down was the temperature of the room. Won’t be staying here again in the summer months…if we decide to stay here again at all…

One of the worse premier inns I've stayed in to be fair. No air con and fans everywhere which blow out hot air. Although the one in our bedroom was really good. I've always thought the beds aren't as comfortable since Lenny Henry stopped lying on them in adverts so I feel something has changed there. Could hear the upstairs walking around as well. When we got there the self check-in were out of order and a massive que with No staff on the desk. So we left to come back later. We didn't get offered the evening meal, meal deal. In the family room there is only 2 cups for 4 people and there's never enough pillows so now we bring our own. No decaf coffee or tea in the room and only 4 milks that barley do one cup. Breakfast was the worse we've ever had..all buffet food was cold at 8 o'clock. Not a nice experience. We stayed in a Holiday Inn in Liverpool and that was great. Thinking of changing One night hotels for the future.

Clean bed and shower. Room size good and towels etc brilliant. No air conditioning and extremely uncomfortable on some of the hottest nights we've had in this country. Windows give little relief as hardly open. Fan provided but just blows around hot air all night. Struggled to sleep. Noisy as near a main road but easy access to local attractions. Bathroom extraction only works sometimes, making the bathroom a heat box, even with a cold shower. All staff very helpful and understanding.

Rude staff, went for help from a member of staff, as a guest in the hotel had parked too close to our car where my husband couldn’t get into the drivers side, to be told by the lady in reception that they don’t own the car park and their is nothing they can do, she told my husband to climb over (would she have asked a disabled person to do this or a older person) my husband refused to do that, we got no help so we told her that we would start to knock on the doors to find out who it belongs to as we was wanting to move onto our destination, as we left reception she rudely said to someone you can’t help some people in a rude way, anyway we went for breakfast (which wasn’t the best) and went back to her to find out who owned the car park for details, as we were in having breakfast she actually tracked down the owner on cctv and had contacted her, why see couldn’t have done that in the first place everyone would have been ok about the situation. As for the room my god they were too hot to go sleep in, I wouldn’t go back to this hotel.
