  Brilliant stay at central premier inn. The staff are great the lady on reception that checked us in (Anita) was amazing offered us some sweet treats then served us in the restaurant multitasking was no effort for her. Food was tasty and service was fast. Breakfast was fresh and the chef makes the best mushrooms and poached eggs. Would defo recommend this hotel it’s quite clean and staff are very friendly and chatty!

  Staff were amazing and friendly however arrived 20 minutes early after a 4.5hr drive the room was ready however weren’t allowed to check in so had to sit and wait in the lobby until exactly 1500, the rooms were awful, rust on the sink, I had to clean the bath before using it, no mini fridge or way of keeping milk cool, the aircon didn’t work there was a fan however this was loud and stopped us sleeping, the blinds kept falling down. The food was ok but expensive for what it was at dinner. The staff do everything from cleaning and cooking to reception they are very overworked so not their fault but I won’t be staying here again next time we visit family we will stay in a different hotel, looks like premier inn have dropped in standards significantly since last time we stayed in one.

  Stayed on a business trip. On arrival it does look a little run down outside. But our room was absolutely spotless and comfortable. Unfortunately no air conditioning in our room, but we were provided with a good fan. It was comical yet frustrating that the cable for the hair dryer is screwed down, no doubt to prevent theft. But it made it impossible to dry and style my hair in front of the mirror. The fan is also screwed down. I don’t blame them, in this day and age theft is sadly common. The pub restaurant that I’d expect us to be visiting was boarded up. It does create an unfortunate impression when you arrive. However, they’ve converted a couple of bedrooms into a restaurant diner with a kitchen on site. It actually works really well. The menu isn’t as big as some Premier Inns, but it works well. Everything was cooked fresh. The breakfast was buffet, but unlike some places we’ve stayed, everything was fresh and piping hot. We enjoyed a breakfast over a couple of mornings, they were consistent. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Room cleaner than a lot of more expensive places we’ve stayed at. Food was great. We were lucky to use the nearby electric car charger for our works car too. Shops were a short drive away.

  After a long journey this place was just what I needed. I stay in Premier Inns a lot and normally don’t comment but the service and can do attitude of the staff Anita and Mads (taken from their name badges) was first class and I feel I should make the effort to compliment them. The food I had (evening meal) was great. Lots of free parking. This is definitely the best Premier Inn I’ve. Stayed at yet and it’s actually the staff who have made the difference.
