  I stayed here for two weeks while working. I had to be away from my baby for the first time in doing so. I was nervous about the logistics around how I would store milk while I was away from her as I’m a breastfeeding mum. The staff ahead of time ensured I had a fridge in my room, and for the supply I needed to freeze the staff organised it so I could store it with them. I was coming down multiple times a day, and every time, the staff was ready to help. They knew who I was, and what I needed without any explanation and prompt… we even had a running joke that I was the milk lady! The staff were so friendly, so helpful and an utter joy to deal with. What was previously filled with dread and anticipation became a very easy process and actually a joy. I ate at the premises twice a day often, and the food was exemplary (breakfast fab, burgers very generous, duck salad delicious, nachos were amazing with loads of toppings) The pool and facilities were a real luxury too, especially when working away. Rooms clean with efficient air con. What started as a real ‘do I have to go’ turned out to be a lovely break, all with the lovely help of the Holiday Inn staff so thank you.

  kind of motels. they provide a professional service. the whole team is helpful. dont expect a luxury environment. the location is its selling point. good option for a short stay if road trip. parking slot is a bit tight. breakfast is acceptable

  Stayed here on a work trip , not a bad hotel in fairness. Room clean and comfy bed . Dinner and breakfast where ok nothing spectacular. Id stay again but eat out net time for dinner .

  We were there was for a comedy dinner weekend. We had an afternoon tea which was lovely well presented,so much food and all of heigh quality. The meal meal was very good soup to start very hot ,roast chicken with veg and potatoes, and dessert 🍨 All the food came out on time .The diner show was Fawlty Towers it was excellent. The Holiday Inn had a lovely bar space with good choice of drinks. The room was clean and off very good size .Bathroom good with toiletries.Plenty of tea /coffee. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. Full cooked breakfast ,fresh fruit, yogurts, cearl, pastries. Good location just off the motorway.

  Chose this place for a mini-break. What a great location to easily explore the south of Somerset. Glastonbury, Wells, Shepton Mallet and Taunton all nearby. The hotel itself has a swimming pool, exactly what we needed to cool of each evening after days out in 32 to 35 degrees heat! Breakfast was very good as well.
