It was a good base for visiting places around Somerset, nice clean rooms. The only issue I had with the rooms were that the shower heads are fixed to ceiling so made it very difficult to have a full wash.

This was a perfect location for our visit to explore Exmoor.
We had booked this a while ago, taking advantage of the free breakfast offer. Unfortunately, the breakfast wasn't up to normal Premier Inn standards. They even ran out of eggs on our second morning! We, along with other guests were not impressed.
Room was ok. We used the self check-in machine to get our room card. Don't forget to log your car details as soon as you arrive! The parking charge was around £8.50 per night.
We visited the Valley of the Rocks, Lynton, Lynmouth, Porlock Weir, Dunster Castle and Dunster Village, and finally Tarr Steps. We didn't explore Minehead itself.

A big group of 15 of us stayed at the minehead Premier inn.
The duty manager, Shakira, was particularly helpful and accommodating, supporting us in the pre-ordering of food and the check-in for so many of us.
Her regular communication with the group leader made it all so much better.
The staff had a few issues with the evening food in the restaurant, but with a smile they kept the spirits up and we were smiling at the end of the night.
Breakfast was good, hot and tasty and had a full range.
Rooms were the standard premier inn, clean, tidy, dark and quite.
Overall a good stay.

Great location close to shops and the seafront. Staff were really friendly and food over the road in the Brewers was lovely and reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again. The only small downside was that the bathroom smelt slightly damp.

Will be posting a longer review on my own website because of the major issues that I experienced even on arrival for example being made to wait 15 minutes to check in. Let's not talk about trying to get food in the attached brewers fayre. The excuse I got was that they've just taken over and have some learning experiences.
