The rooms were fine, spacious and decent facilities. The check in process was terrible. All the people in front couldn’t use the machines and it took ages. You should also be able to check multiple parties on the same booking in in one go. The process is cumbersome. It’s a good spot for staying after Longleat. Big car park. The restaurant on site is shut.

Arrived on Friday Night (25 Sept) Having booked a 'meal deal' only to be told the restaurant was full and we couldn't have dinner there. Having checked, there was barely anyone in the bar/restaurant so don't know what happened there. We were promised a refund on the dinner part of the meal deal - needless to say we are still waiting for it over a week later! Room was standard, breakfast was OK, staff were pleasant but I want the refund for the dinner (and drinks) we didn't get!!

The bed was comfortable, the shower was decent, the room was clean and the car park was big enough to easily find a space. However the room was very hot, and with the window open, the noise from the nearby A road was incredibly loud. The service was non-existent - we did not see any staff member at any point during our stay. Check in is via a machine and parking is done on a tablet, while check out is dropping the key in a box on the way out. There is no information about what is going on with the restaurant since the recent "closure" of all Beefeaters. I don't think it was really worth it for the price.

Premier inn as a company is awful, I had a 60th birthday gift to longleat and staying at this premier inn, no quilts were on the beds just covers in the night I was cold and in the dark pulled out a quilt, later on about 3am ish I woke up turned on the light reveal a badly urine stained quilt, I went to get another one to find they were just under the bed, no bags no protection, so then I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night as it was dirty Now to the breakfast that was booked with the premier inn booking with the attached beefeater, we were told the night before that we couldn’t eat at an almost empty restaurant with out a pre paid booking (also not pointed out by premier inn) By very rude lady called Lisa, So we went for breakfast there Was a very small hatch where you ordered eggs which is what they said in the menus in the room at the Premier Inn, I approached the gentleman behind the hatch and asked him if it was possible if I could have poached eggs and was told that I had order these at the bar I went tothe bar and saw a very rude man called Phil. He was wiping down the area around where the fruit juices are with a dirty cloth and asked him if he was the man that I ordered the poached eggs from he said yes what do you want? I said could we have four please, He replied yeah okay so I said how long, to which he shrugged his shoulders and said to me I don’t know, because I am on such very strong medication and had to eat I would go and do myself a piece of toast, I went to the toaster where Phil came over with his bare hands and put bread into the racks, patting them down with his bare hands to my horror, so I asked him very politely “excuse me can I ask you why you’re not using the tongues that are provided here for the bread” which she turned his back on me and completely ignored me again. I asked him “excuse me” to which he ignored me blatantly again so I went to Lisa and told her what has happened and was told that Phil had PROBABLY washed his hands in between wiping the counter and patting down the bread so having no immune system whatsoever and being quite severely poorly I couldn’t eat breakfast, then we were sat down for 25 minutes before Lisa brought over four poached eggs on a plate. I turned round and said to her it’s to late now, she turned around and walked off with the eggs. I was absolutely disgusted so had no breakfast. So unable to take meds, I am supposed to take my medication with Food so I went back out to the hotel reception spoke to a very nice lady called Cara she was absolutely lovely and took everything down and said that it was unacceptable. I came home and I phoned Premier Inn and as it was a birthday present. My name wasn’t on the booking and I had to go through everything and take the complaint to my stepdaughter so that she could give them permission to speak to me. I explained everything that had happened and was assured that my name would be put on the booking so I could speak to them with any future reference now I’ve been told by Premier Inn that the case has been closed and that the money has been refunded to the card that was on the booking, we have received no email no apology. Nothing completely ruined the gift off my step daughter for my 60th birthday with no consideration whatsoever. I strongly strongly strongly recommend that people do not use Premier in these people do not care whether you have a nice time they do not care whether you’re comfortable they will just pay you back your 80 quid or however much it costs for you to stay there it’s nothing to these people. They just don’t give a toss about you. I will never ever recommend stay or even consider I would have a tent by the side of the road or even just a blanket rather than stay at a Premier Inn again as I honestly feel that I would be treated with a lot more respect. And I would like to end this honest review with, premier inn took the booking with the breakfast so it does fall to them to make sure it’s up to some sort of standard, but judging by the rooms standards is something g they simply don’t possess
