Not an ideal location, next to a garage, cars and vehicles coming and going on the access road, which the room lookout on. The service in the restaurant on the evening, customer relations were not there strong point. I can't comment on the food as I left before I was served. I will not be returning to this Premier Inn.

The restaurant and bar are now a lot smaller, although much more modern.
The breakfast was cold and kept running out of options.
Beer selection has vastly reduced. But the rooms were nice and it’s a great location. Friendly staff.

Stayed here for a week while working away. I’ll start with the positive — the front desk staff on check-in were absolutely spot on. Friendly, professional and welcoming. Upon entering the room it was generally clean, although there were a few issues, such as the tea and coffee holder clearly not being cleaned properly.
Unfortunately, after check-in the stay went downhill. During the recent heatwave the rooms were unbearably hot to the point it became a genuine health concern for me due to asthma. It got so uncomfortable that I actually drove home some nights instead of staying in the hotel. No proper air conditioning in weather like that just isn’t acceptable anymore.
If you’re on EE mobile network, forget about signal entirely here. Coverage was basically non-existent throughout my stay.
Then there’s the WiFi situation. The “free” WiFi is capped at around 1Mbps, which is painfully slow in 2026. Streaming, working or even basic browsing becomes frustrating. What makes it worse is the hotel charging extra per day for usable internet speeds. Staying a full week and still wanting guests to pay daily for decent WiFi just feels like pure corporate greed.
Honestly, save yourself the hassle and stay at the Ibis two minutes down the road. Cheaper rooms, faster internet, room service and air-conditioned rooms. Massive difference.
