Premier Inn, this is an absolute joke. Your vending machine is charging: £1.90 for a Mars/Snickers/Twix £3.00 for a bottle of water £2.90 for an orange drink £3.00 for Coke £3.50 for Red Bull £4.50 for sharing bags of sweets/chocolate The worst part? Plain water is more expensive than some of the sugary drinks. How can a hotel justify charging guests £3 for basic water? People are already paying to stay there, then getting stung again for snacks and drinks like they’re trapped at a motorway services. This isn’t “convenience pricing” — it’s taking the piss out of customers. Sort it out, Premier Inn. #PremierInn #RipOffBritain #CostOfLiving #VendingMachine #UKPrices #WaterPrices

Absolutely outstanding service from all the staff. We were a party of over 50 guests - 18 forteeen years old boys and the rest were male & female parents and a few siblings. We were a Football Club who used the hotel for 2 nights over a weekend. We pre booked our meal for the Saturday night as we all wanted to eat together at the hotel.....and it was OUTSTANDING. They sectioned off a part of the restaurant, and every meal came out as planned and within suitable timescale of eachother👌 The staff were all friendly throughout our stay. Highly recommend, well done to everyone 👏

Extremely disappointed with our stay. We found out on our way up that they had somehow double booked our premium room (how is this possible?) and had to move us to a standard room. This room was absolutely sweltering and has a awful night. We then had to pack up again to move to our originally booked room. When we came back late from our day we found that our room was not ready, had not been cleaned and had dirty cups, sheets and towels from the previous occupants. Lady on reception then had to clean the room herself and we eventually got into it at 11pm. We were offered a free breakfast but we weren't able to make use of this as we were busy with our own plans. We received a refund of the difference in price for the 1st night which is our minimum expectation after so much inconvenience.

Oh dear, a view of the future. This hotel has had its beefeater pub closed for about a year and safe to say if this is how all the other hotels with an adjoining pub will end up I will stop staying at premier inns. When I arrived I had to wait about 15 mins for the one and only member of staff in not only the hotel but the bar and restaurant too. He was great and apologised but was clearly stressed. He proceeded to check in the queue of 4 people who had arrived whilst waiting for someone to check us in and had to tell us all that the restaurant was full and unless you had a booking you couldn't eat at the hotel. I felt sorry for the poor lad. Anyway the room etc was the usual and very clean and comfortable. When I went out to eat elsewhere I had a look through the filthy window of what was once a massive beefeater pub and there was 4 people in there, just 4 and this is aparently fully booked! This was at 18:30 so not early. I'd say this was maybe a one off but I saw the same issue the 2nd day of my stay when passing through the reception. Poor show whitbread, you clearly value profit over customer and staff satisfaction and clearly don't understand your business model
