  Overall a good night's stay. We stayed here while travelling back from a holiday and this was near a event we was going to the next day. Staff on check in helpful and rooms both ready- a twin and a single. Both clean , fresh and smelled clean too. Beds comfy and bathrooms to a decent standard. Breakfast was okay for the morning- was quick and easy. We spent the 1 night in the hotel and left the next morning- no complaints all went smoothly with the rooms and service.

  Stayed for two nights this week Nothing wrong with the room Checked in lovely man on reception Already had bb booked but wanted to upgrade to meal deal - lady in restaurant said I couldn’t although I know you could Second day came down for a Towel lady in reception handed to me without a word Later on came down for an iron man on reception feet up on desk pointed and said they are there . The said lady from earlier was heard having a conversation with another person saying “ she was done with this place and was thinking of calling in sick the next day The next day she was there but very rude think she was the manager x

  Great as a base for access to the NEC and local Solihull/Birmingham events, but avoid the restaurant at all costs. The hotel is in a great location with so many delicious and highly-rated restaurants and bars a stone's throw away. I hate to complain, especially publicly, but the horrendous experience we had needs to be noted as a warning for other potential travellers. Waiting a good 20-25 minutes before having to ask for menus, warm beer, being spoken to like we're an inconvenience, lukewarm microwaved food, and incorrect food being handed back to us after spending 10+ mins back in the kitchen... learn from our mistake. Save yourself the hassle (and risk of food poisoning!) and eat elsewhere. Literally anywhere else.

  Great location, great staff. A big shout out to Aaron & Chunk for great service and amending and adding things to the menu at night for us. We are at this hotel for 4 weeks and they make us really welcome. Also, Jenny in the morning. She is a breath of fresh air! Thanks again everyone. Clare & Beth!

  Stay here several times a year and had a good experience every time, until today, arrived off the plane, came to check in at 14.35pm and was asked for 15 pound early check in fee!!! Check in is 3pm. I said theres only 25 minutes to go and was rudely told that was the charge!!! Not impressed, I'm paying for 2 days booking, yet only one and a half days stay is allowed. Had to sit in the hall for 25mins with my 85 year old father.
