  Having stayed in Premier Inns (and other hotels) - I really feel the need to call out “Sam on reception” she brings the place alive, couldn’t be more helpful or knowledgable, and is a wonderful welcome to a weary traveller. - She is an ambassador for Premier Inns - Have more Sam’s let her set the benchmark for what real customer service is all about - Great Job Sam ! We will be back…

  We stayed here on an overnight stop on our way down to Cornwall. We love a Premier Inn as you always know what you are getting and this one was no different. Room was clean and a good size and Kenzie was lovely during our meal in The Social. Would recommend for an overnight stay as it is quite well situated and staff are very accommodating and friendly.

  Great location but most memorably the friendliest staff - everyone from reception to bar to restaurant couldn’t have welcomed us more helpfully or happily. Every staff member also went out of our their way to make our daughters feel welcome. Particular credit to Kenzie for his polite and attentive service throughout our dinner, helping out with menu choices and going the extra mile to make the kids’ meals special - an asset to a lovely team.

  The rooms at the hotel are spotless and spacious Everything you may need Tea, coffee etc are available to top up in reception if you need. Free car parking is a bonus Reception is staffed 24hours and the staff are really helpful Breakfast is good quality Selection of bakery items, fruit, cereals and yogurt. Full hot breakfast available to order too Restaurant also located on site serving a variety of meals… plenty of choice. Again the restaurant staff are friendly and helpful Location is good for easy transport in Birmingham and surrounding areas

  Uncomfortable experience due to lack of air conditioning. Premier Inn family room is our default accommodation when staying away from home with kids. Unfortunately, Solihull South does not have AC in rooms, leading to a hot, sticky and sweaty stay during a heat wave. We did have two desk fans which helped cool the room slightly. The staff tried to help as best they can, I heard several guests were saying their rooms are too hot, but staff were limited in what they could do. The dining area is small and did not have space for breakfast buffet. It was fine - the kitchen cooked our breakfast to order. Car park is a good size and location is good.
