  Big shout out to David O at Washington Premier Inn for exceptional customer service. Friendly and engaging, full of the joys of life. I have stayed at many Premier Inn’s but this is now my favourite. A good breakfast, but more importantly a warm smile and good banter. Thank you David O.

  Good premier inn! Good rooms, nice and clean. But what really stood out was the staff that worked there. All of them were so incredibly kind and lovely but a stand out person for us was David. He did our breakfast every morning and was such a ray of sunshine every day we were there! We didn't seem to have special treatment, he treated every guest so wonderfully.

  Did not stay at hotel but needed breakfast so in my view this entails cereal and fryed but paid £10.49 and was told i had to pay extra for cereal to me a coach driver who has stayed in many Premier inn's this is unacceptable and very expensive so first and last sorry.

  You get exactly what they advertise - a comfy bed and a great room! At this location they have the added advantage of great staff - without exception everyone I had dealings with was helpful and pleasant. However, three members of staff really stood out in their customer service and made my eight night stay a joy. Sharon and David at breakfast - their enthusiasm and customer care was outstanding. On the morning of the 6th September the fire alarm went off - Sharon was very calm and helped to clear the breakfast area very quickly , she also noticed that my mobility was not very good and very kindly offered to take a chair out to the assembly point so I could sit down . On my last day she even helped me carry out my luggage to my car! They were constantly checking that everything was ok with customers' food without being over the top. Tanya on reception - was always extremely cheerful and dealt with any issues efficiently. If not dealing with a customer, she would always look up from her work and greet every customer as they walked through reception . Two small negative observations The TV is extremely slow to react to the remote control - this was very annoying as it would often take up to a minute or so to react so you weren't sure if you had actually pressed the correct button - minor I know but frustrating. Despite there being a large car park with plenty of spaces , cars (not displaying blue badges) were often parked either side of the main entrance . Maybe consider marking these as drop off / pick up only or as disabled spaces .
