  Omg this hotel is lovely. Plenty parking. Staff go above and beyond. Food is lovely. There's even a fridge in my room.

  Stayed here on an excellent value 2 night B&B deal last weekend. Hotel is at a great location near to motorway and easy to find. Reception area is tidy and welcoming and staff on desk were very friendly. Our room was a generous size and was clean and cosy. Decor of hotel overall was a bit tired and of its age and could probably do with a makeover and freshen up. Breakfast both mornings was excellent, extensive buffet with plenty of choice and always being refreshed. Quality of food was top class and once again staff were very helpful. Lots to see and do in the area and plenty of visitor attractions within a twenty minutes drive. To sum up, we had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this establishment.

  Went here on a Red Letter Day a lovely present from my family, unfortunately it wasn't as nice as it was made out to be, room was OK but we were kept awake with a loud humming noise from the bathroom extractor fan for the whole building I fear, then there was the lovely meal (not quite) it was dismal, we were told there would be a wait as some staff shortage all I can think of it must of been the chef, over cooked chicken tenders, but the main meal killed it burnt potatoes grilled chicken to tough to cut and some sort of lemon sauce, I did ask the waiter what it was on my plate as I couldn't make it out myself, my husband got a sad looking ham egg and chips a broken hard egg, they did try to offer another meal but from what we had been offered I couldn't imagine what they could make the dessert was a cheap flat cheesecake like something from a pound shop, which would nbe fine is you hadn't traveled 300 miles and paid top dollar for the special day they took a drink of the bill as a sorry, do disappointed won't be back or recommending this hotel, and just to say I have stayed in holiday inns before and they have been great not this one

  I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Washington and overall found it to be a comfortable and welcoming hotel, with several positives worth mentioning alongside a few areas that could benefit from improvement. The staff were genuinely pleasant, approachable, and consistently helpful throughout my stay. This was one of the strongest aspects of the hotel and made a noticeable difference to the overall experience. My room was clean and well‑presented, with a tidy layout and good natural light. However, I did encounter some issues with the bedding. A few of the sheets had visible stains, which was disappointing and not in line with the standards I would normally expect from Holiday Inn. While the room itself felt organised and comfortable, the housekeeping quality could be more consistent, particularly regarding linen checks. The bathroom was functional and clean, though slightly dated. It served its purpose well, but didn’t quite have the “freshly cleaned” feel that makes a stay more reassuring. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very good, better than I typically expect from Holiday Inn. The food quality good, well‑prepared, and offered a solid variety. This was a definite highlight. The restaurant seating, however, was less impressive. The chairs were quite uncomfortable and gave the space an unwelcoming feel. If you’re planning to sit for a longer meal, especially dinner, be prepared for a sore back. It’s a small detail, but one that affects the overall dining experience. In summary, the hotel has many positives: friendly staff, good breakfast, and clean public areas. With some attention to housekeeping and restaurant comfort, it could easily offer a much more polished stay. I hope management takes these points on board, as the foundation of a great hotel is clearly there.

  4* hotel with 5 star service ✅ Came here on a organised coach tour. We were shown to our clean and quiet room. The beds were really comfortable, everything you need for a weekend stay. Breakfast was a buffet service, hot and delicious!. 3-course meal in the evenings was also delicious.
