  Ideal hotel to stay. Rooms are nothing special but vets clean.

  We booked a king room in December last year and it's 9 months later they tried to give us a twin room saying they were fully booked.i went and complained because we paid £127 for the room we managed to get a double but no discount to say we were supposed to have a king. The receptionist was not friendly at all and it was as if it was out fault. Will stay at the premier inn next time which is just down the road.

  Very disappointed booking into the hotel as air conditioning is featured on the website. But apparently most of the guests have requested for the heating and as it’s a central system it also affects my room. I walked into the room and it’s 28 degrees and a duvet on the bed! The GM brings up a table fan because I’ve complained. IHG needs to do better - how is air conditioning being advertised and guests can’t get it because the majority have opted for heating. It’s going to be a very unpleasant and uncomfortable evening!

  Have stayed here many times over the past years. Great hotel easily accessible, lots of parking. Hotel staff and management are excellent and the rooms clean and well laid out. Restaurant provides food throughout the day and they are helpful with any diary needs. Great place to stay while you look around the area

  Welcome was a llittle disinterested at reception. Stood looking at something on the computer for ages..... Restaurant even worse. Noone else was there (the only other tables had already eaten and were leaving) Despite that the waitress sat us, gave us menus then ignored us. 3 other staff walking around noone noticed we still didnt have even a drink after 5 minutes. She came to ask us about our food order. Instead of drinks first. It's a basic, come on! Do better. Didn't tell us what the soup was. Another basic. No idea if there were specials as noone mentioned anything. Smallest schnitzel we have ever seen. Seriously. Tiny. Dry jacket potato. If there was any butter on it it was imperceptible. I had to ask for some more. Small dollop of tuna. Tiny potato. Asked for the bill. The girl wandered off to the bar and never came back! I mean, it's not even busy. Really overpriced underdelivered. No wonder restaurant was empty. Zero atmosphere zero interest.
