  A really nice and clean hotel. The food was good and the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful.

  Location is perfect for eton&windsor. We had a lovely 25 min walk to Windsor each day. Also there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel to Legoland. Kitchen staff is not good at service and does not look friendly at all. Rooms might be better. Still not bad for the price.

  We visited the restaurant as walk-in customers rather than hotel guests, and unfortunately we were made to feel as though our custom was an inconvenience from the outset. The service throughout the meal was extremely poor. I ordered a drink which sat on the bar for at least 20 minutes before it was eventually brought to our table. When it arrived, I realised it was the wrong drink. It then remained on our table for around another 10 minutes before it was taken back to the bar. After it had been returned, the incorrect drink sat on the bar for a further 10 minutes while I watched a bartender being instructed by a manager to put the cap back on the bottle and return it to the fridge rather than dispose of it. I did eventually receive the correct drink, but it was disappointing to witness this happen. We also ordered a glass of milk for our daughter, but after waiting more than 20 minutes with no sign of it, we had to ask for it again. As we were not staying at the hotel, we also had to ask staff for access to the toilets because they required a key card, something that wasn’t explained to us beforehand. When our daughter’s meal arrived, it was incomplete and was missing the chips that should have accompanied it. After waiting for them to arrive and seeing no sign of them, I had to leave the table to find a member of staff and point out that they were missing. By the time the chips were finally brought to the table, our daughter had already finished the rest of her meal. After both her meal and ours had been served, no member of staff came to check whether everything was correct or if we needed anything else, despite the number of issues we had already experienced. Overall, the experience was frustrating due to the poor service, long waits, and repeated mistakes. We felt overlooked throughout our visit and, unfortunately, it did not provide the standard of service we would expect from a hotel restaurant.

  My company booked myself and several colleagues into this hotel for a work event, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. When I checked into my room, it was immediately obvious that it hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was dirt and hair on the floor, and the bed sheets clearly hadn’t been changed as there appeared to be something spilled on them. The bathroom was even worse. I honestly don’t know who designed the shower, but it was a terrible experience. The water was either scorching hot or difficult to regulate, the shower leaked out of the bath and flooded the bathroom floor, making it extremely slippery, and the ceiling-mounted shower head made it difficult to wash properly. To make matters worse, the extractor fan was covered in dust, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence in the cleanliness of the room. When I raised these issues with the receptionist, I was told they couldn’t move me to another room and could only have the room cleaned again. Given the condition it was in when I arrived, that response was very disappointing. To top it all off, the hotel advertises on-site parking, which is misleading. There is a car park at the rear of the hotel, but it is barricaded off and unavailable. The nearest alternative is around a six-minute walk away and requires payment. You’re honestly better off parking on the road directly outside the hotel or on the side street next to the police station. Overall, I was extremely unhappy with my stay and expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and customer service.
