  The breakfast is a bit short on flavour. The room was good. The staff were excellent and really helpful. Very expensive parking.

  Excellent accomodation, brilliant breakfast, superb and helpful staff despite being very busy. Only downside there being no on site parking which can be a real pain and costlz.

  I accidentally left an item of clothing in the room . A few days later I rang the reception desk. Thy said yes, the item was there in lost property. I travelled almost an hour each way.i am not in the best of health. When I got to hotel reception they said they could not find the clothing. I was made to feel like a criminal with all their questions. They almost put a bag in my hand and pulled it away again. Something is wrong there. I feel they where playing with me. I know the item well and described it. I gave the date of my stay and answered all questions they asked. That item was left there. Where is it? Did the chamber maid find it. ? Does not seem honest to me. The first receptionist said yes it was there and they had it for me to collect. That why travelled back to stockport to pick it up. Not good. Someone was at fault. Not me. To be messed about that is nor right. The breakfast was not great. Cold. Cheap ingredients. The room was adequate. Service terrible.

  Extremely tidy and spotlessly clean with everything you needed. Staff were exceptional; efficient, friendly and helpful. It's a cliche but nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfast, everything hot and freshly cooked. Help yourself buffet, often replenished. Very well located in the centre of town by the railway station. However, the trains could not be heard- great sound proofing! I thoroughly recommend it and will stay in Holiday Inns again

  Just had superb 4 day stay at Holiday Inn Stockport for a family wedding. Room nice, clean and air conditioned; staff all excellent and could not have been more helpful; right at Stockport station so ideal for rail links, Stockport town centre (10 min walk) and buses from Stockport Exchange (also 5 or 10 min walk). Great parking too at NCP Stockport Station Long Stay. Only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars assessment of room is that beds are large so space around and hanging space a little tight - though we knew that before booking. If you have an EV, no chargers right at the hotel but 15 BeEV 150kW chargers which are a 15 min walk away in the Decathlon car park - though for the 15 minute charge we needed why walk back to the hotel. Highly recommended if you are in Stockport which we love.
