  Noisy as close to A41. The hotel's Beefeater was closed when we went. The restaurants listed as options to visit 'close by' were not all open on the day and others had a limited menu.

  Booked a family room. Unfortunately it was absolutely covered in thick cobwebs, all above the beds. I didnt notice until I put my toddler in bed, a spider fell on him and we looked up There was a deep layer of dust behind the bed and all the air conditioning units were clogged with spider webs. Should have been a red flaf when we walked through the coridoors and it stunk. Told Ethan at reception, he showed us 2 other rooms that were just as bad. So we left at 2am in the morning, with our 1 and 2 year old and slept in the car! Had to ring customer services, took 40 mins on the phone waiting to go through. Now waiting up to 5 business days for a refund

  The staff were lovely but the room wasn't great. As soon as we walked into the room, there was a very strong aroma of a men's cologne that remained the entire time we stayed. I am really sensitive to smells and it made me physically sick. The shower also didn't work. As it was midnight, I didn't wish to go all the way down to reception to inform them so I told them in the morning. The sheets were clean but it was very dusty and the bathroom quite grimy.

  Quiet, air conditioned and room in good condition. Despite the hotel being full on a Saturday night I didn’t hear a peep of noise.

  A good location for Hoo Zoo. The room was good, comfortable bed and good shower, nice and cool with Aircon, good for the price. Negatives were the pillow was sticking out the pillow case and the pillow protector was all stained, a bit off putting. Also the beefeater restaurant had no chef so we couldn't get an evening meal and no cooked breakfast. However the receptionist recommended a lovely pub to eat at close by which was lovely, (better than the beefeater would have been I would think) and the continental breakfast was fine. The beefeater looked a bit run down.
