From set go staff we're really nice and polite at reception when we arrivedon Monday for our 3nth stay. The room we we're given was really small for our family, dust everywhere and tiny bathroom. We requested for a different room and was given a premium room which we appreciated, but again the bathroom was extremely small for a premium room, still filled with dust everywhere, limescale around the tap, dusty in the bedroom (tables, side lamps and bed headboard). The bath definitely wasn't washed for sure when the cleaners came. I can honestly say it was just rinsed with water everyday we stayed. The breakfast was ok but salty (for a non salty eater) on day two, dinner was limited for choices. Mostly didn't look like what it was when it arrived. We only enjoyed our last nights evening meal (attached). We we're tempted to leave early but our girls wanted to stay and enjoy what they could as it was their first with us. Aimee at the restaurant in the evening was really nice and polite. We're professional cleaners so we know how a good clean looks like. We travel a lot and have visited many holiday inn across the country and have never experienced this before.

We stay here once a year to visit family nearby. It’s convenient for the motorway and a few minutes drive to them. We stayed in an executive room 437. It was at the back overlooking the car park. We ask for a quiet room. It’s what you would expect. The rooms are clean. The bathroom had a walkin shower. Second set of towels in the wardrobe. It was let down again by the housekeeping. Towels were changed and it was clean but the wine glasses and bottle from room service as we arrived late the night before weren’t cleared.

I have stayed here a few times on business trips. The hotel is clean and has great staff - Suzanne at reception is so friendly and helpful. It gets 4 stars for a couple of reasons: The premium room mix (not all rooms have fridges which is a bit of a pain) and the tv quality differs between rooms. The restaurant serves a delicious tuna salad but it seems to be one of the only healthy options on the menu that isn’t 900+ calories. As someone who moves around a lot it would be great if there was a bit more variety in terms of healthy food. The spa facilities are great and a highlight - sauna, steam, jacuzzi, pool and well equipped gym with a squat rack - everything you need!

Took our two granddaughters here to give their parents a break for their wedding anniversary. They have recently started swimming lessons and so were thrilled to swim with Grandma whilst I stayed with our dog. We also had and evening meal and breakfast. Grandma has returned today to collect a jacket she left in the wardrobe. Someone once told me that good quality is when something exceeds your expectations and this certainly did. All the staff were exceptional and a credit to the Hotel.
