All you'd expect from Premier Inn. Rooms located within 12/13 floors served by two efficient elevators. Located in a fairly rough & noisy part of the city surrounded by busy roads and an active street drinking community. Fortunately, the building security access was good.
Parking is provided by basement parking beneath the building and charged at £6 per day. Make sure you pay this at reception but use your car at your peril as bays are very limited so may not be available when you return. Its damp down there too!
Staff were cheerful and welcoming and perfectly able to assist us eith basic queries when asked.
Rooms were clean and modern and noise from late night street drinkers, drug users & boy racers not really an issue at least on the upper floors where we were. There's not much of a view on one side of the building unless you enjoy watching office workers go about their business but the other is a spectacular view of the south of the city and distant suburban hills.
Not a bad hotel by any means especially for the price and offers a 5 minute walk to the central shopping areas. Be wary of the immediate locale however as it's run-down and a bit of a gauntlet to run...particularly after dark!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the chef and the breakfast team.
I travel a lot for work and have stayed in quite a few Premier Inn hotels over the years, but today’s breakfast was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.
Everything was cooked to perfection. The eggs were beautifully done with a perfectly runny yolk, the tomatoes were fresh and presented so nicely, and the whole breakfast looked as good as it tasted. You could really see the care and attention that went into preparing it.
Please pass on my thanks and compliments to the chef. It’s little touches like this that make a stay memorable. Keep up the fantastic work!

Stayed over the weekend at this Premier Inn with family and it was a lovely experience! Rooms were clean and spacious. Service was great with a good breakfast selection. Vegan options available at breakfast. Front of house Sally was exceptionally lovely, helpful, and considerate! Close to a lovely high street with many restaurants and parking available at the Premier Inn. Definitely a great option for short stays in Sheffield.

I’ve just had an unexpected turn up at my room at precisely 10:15pm. Myself and my friend were joking around on at an empty lift. Please bear in mind there was an external customer who travelled with us from the ground floor to the 4th floor and everything was civil (baring the hotels business in mind). Once we got to the 5th floor my friend was getting out and I held him as a joke. The door didn’t even attempt to shut it was that short of a joke. Half a hour later as I was tucked away in bed. I was greeted very aggressively by a member of staff called Matthew. He obviously thought that he could use my age (23) vs his age (mid 40s) against myself to intimidate me. He threw empty threats saying he will call the police and have me arrested, also he will kick me out of the hotel. I asked him politely if my friend was pressing charges against assault. This was dismissed immediately. I then asked him where in premier inns terms and conditions is it acceptable to come to my room with this sort of aggressiveness when no customer nor member of staff has felt either intimidated/annoyed. Additionally after him stating he will kick me out of the hotel. I then asked him where in premier inns terms and conditions does it state what he had a problem with (which was a innocent joke between friends in a area with no public eye) was it nessacary to pound on my door and attempt to intimidate me like he did. After this… (my door to my room was kept open with my foot) he then attempted to slam the door shut on my foot and say that’s it goodnight. I precieve this as assault and although I do not wish to press charges I do wish premier inns takes immediate action against this. I have this encounter recorded on my phone. Please provide me with a member of staff’s email address for me to forward this to. I’d rather sort this issue direct rather than involve my legal team. As a reoccurring customer I find this sort of behaviour disgusting you can have a look at the account booking and see how often we stay with you guys and have never, ever had a problem.
Many thanks
