  A wonderful hotel once you understand its quirks. Large and clean rooms.You can have as much tea as you want and the kettle was clean. You need to notify the staff everytime you want your room cleaned. The restaurant is cozy and it had a very good steak dish. The chiken skewers were too dry on my opinion. The staff were polite and fast.

  Great place to stay with fab food in their restaurant (both evening meal and breakfast). Only criticism if there had to be one...the place was lovely and clean but perhaps the bedrooms needs brightening up a bit as ours was quite dark. Oh and the windows could do with a good clean on the outside. However I would definitely stay there again. Great position, a short walk from the train station and close to the tram for Meadowhall.

  My wife and I have just spent a couple of nights here and everything was great. It was easy to get to the hotel using the tram from the station. Room was good as was the great breakfast. I had made a mistake with the booking, but Netti, on reception sorted everything out. Well done her ! The area might be a little 'iffy' at night .. but I'm not too sure.

  Wasn't my first choice, I'd booked in a different Premier Inn, before it got closed for some reason. They moved me here instead, and graciously didn't charge me extra. Reception was the least welcoming in recent memory (historically I've stayed in about half a dozen Premier inns per year, but recently I've switched to travelodge). I only booked Premier inn for the location, so being moved out of the blue was annoying.

  Stayed here at the weekend to see a show at the City Hall. It was a good location in terms of proximity to attractions in the city centre, but didn't seem like it was itself situated in a good area, with run down streets, graffiti and closed down businesses close by. The service was good, with the limited interactions we had, as we did not use the facilities such as the restaurant. The front desk agent who checked us in was friendly, as was the agent who took our room keys upon the departure. We did book a Premier Plus room, but was somewhat disappointed. The room was very tired looking, with lots of chipped paint in and around the bathroom and bedroom. The cleanliness was somewhat lacking with only the more high traffic areas covered, and the rest somewhat lacking. The 'Premier Plus' room seeming like it was that in aesthetic and name only, but didn't seem as enough of a difference or special enough from a standard room to warrant the price difference. I would stay here again, but only if I needed a convenient central location.
