  Honestly, it wasn't a great stay. The food was awful. My dinner was barely warm, and waiting 23 minutes for two boiled eggs is just unacceptable. In the evening, three staff members were struggling to set up the terminal while ignoring everyone waiting at the bar. The service was really slow and not up to your usual standard.

  The check in experience was awful..nothing personal at all. Checked in on a screen like I was ordering at Burger King and it spat out a ticket like a meat counter with our room number on it. We had to programme our own keys. Odd, as the people before us seemed to have a more traditional experience. We were told, "as you'll probably know, our Beefeater has shut down so we have a very small menu." We didn't know. How would we? There is nothing in the booking to tell us. We were also told, " as you know, we have an annex"... again, how would we know?! We'd parked in a disabled bay and were then sent right across the site to our room so had to move the car. We scanned our key through every door... felt like we'd been locked down in a prison camp! Room was basic and had a bottle opener on the side of the unit?! We could not see ourselves in the mirror when seated to get ready as the mirrors are too high. Very questionable stain on the chair. And my plan for a bath disappeared when we discovered we only had a shower with a screen that was desperately in need of a wipe! Felt like a bar toilet with the tissue dispenser! Bed was comfortable though and we slept okay. Wouldn't visit again but it served a purpose on our journey to a wedding.

  The room is really nice and it’s really nice and quiet at night. However, from the Staff on reception to the Staff in the dining room that’s not so good. The poor quality of food this is available and still have to wait 50 minutes for your food to arrive and it was cold and got sent back. I wouldn’t recommend anyone purchasing the meal deal because you get limited food choices for dinner in the evening And breakfast, it felt like you were in a holiday camp dining room. And the food on offer was really poor quality. There was no point in trying to complain because all of the Staff kept saying is we’re all new and we don’t know what we’re doing.

  Well we booked a room at doncaster lakeside premier inn and got in the room dumped bags on the bed an headed out into doncaster later we arrived back and decided to get in bed an watch tv but after moving stuff off the bed we noticed stains an blood on bedding and after a closer look there was other people's hair in the bed so was went to reception and they apologised and gave us a different room so we went to the other room and soon as we got in there was pubic hair on the bed and stains plus some kind of white substance all over the head board so we headed back to reception and wasn't offered another room so we was left with no other options but to leave the hotel and make the journey home at about half 9 at night ... reception said we can't give you a refund and we had to contact premier inn head office this visit has left us feeling dirty an sickened by the experience it was like the cleaner had just made the bed after other people stayed in there and not charged the bedding etc so at about 9.30 pm we was forced to make the drive home and I have contacted premier inn this morning and sent all photos to them and have to wait 24 hours for them to investigate the issue its unfair and we should be given a refund ASAP I have photos but don't know how to upload them to this review

  After staying here on numerous occasions over several years at our recent visit we were unable too find a parking space after going out in the evening. On asking at reception it would appear they now employ Horizon Parking to sell the spaces to visiting football fans and one vehicle who parked in a Disabled space without badge and checked into the hotel were not asked to vacate the space, despite the fact that I am a blue badge holder and have restricted mobility. I contacted the guest relations and was advised that parking was on a first come first served basis (it does not state that on their website), when I queried it I was again told that it's first come first serve so basically tough. Having to walk to my room and back to my vehicle several hours later and sit and wait for a space and then walk back to my room again caused increased pain and meant I had very little sleep. If they still have a good night guarantee it obviously doesn't apply here. Such a shame as we stayed here so many times and this is the first time a problem has occurred. Oh and the air con unit outside our window was also very noisy, I suggest someone looks at the bearings in the fan.
