Second time staying here and a credit to the place being katie who goes above and beyond. Stopped in a premier plus room, very nice and tidy room. The food onsite is fantastic both taste and value for money. Also do a happy hour offer 5pm-9pm i think this too being a great offer. 10/10 for me (Mr birchall)

The rooms offer excellent value for money and were very good overall. Unfortunately, the only issue during my stay was with the manager, Sarah. When I tried to flag her down in the restaurant to report that my food was stone cold, she initially walked past me. After eventually getting her attention, I was made to feel as though I was an inconvenience rather than a guest raising a legitimate concern. The way the situation was handled was disappointing and left a negative impression on an otherwise pleasant stay.

Initially a good experience. We had booked the wrong room but they were very helpful in moving us to an appropriately accessible room.
A towel was missing and they promised one but it never arrived.
The bar was nice, staff were friendly , we did not eat there so cannot comment on the food.
I would have given a higher rating but the issue we have experienced since returning home is to do with the parking.
We entered our car registration number at reception for free parking, as directed by the manager, but we were horrified to receive 2 parking fines £100 for each day of our 2 day stay from Horizon Parking. It stated the fine would reduce to £60 per day if we paid within 14 days. We contacted them to appeal straight away, but this was rejected as they claimed not to have any record of our registration entry each day, but said we could pay £15 for each instead. Our choice was to pay in full and call in an independent arbitrator. The distress of this and the injustice was severe especially for my disabled wife and so we elected to pay the £30. This marred what was a lovely celebratory trip for our great granddaughter’s 7th birthday.
We certainly will not stay again on our next visit and Premier Inn need to ensure the equipment is working properly. No doubt we are on the CCTV in reception entering our details but it is too stressful to pursue. Just be warned.

The premier inn was perfect, bit of an odd location mind next to some big food factory. Staff were great. Only grumble was the dining room was boiling. Heat was blasting out the air conditioning.
