The customer service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff throughout, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The location was also a big positive – it’s an easy drive to the city centre while being far enough away to avoid the late-night noise and disruption from people out drinking, making for a much quieter stay. The only downside was that the hotel and rooms are looking quite dated and worn. They were clean and functional, but they could definitely benefit from some refurbishment and modern upgrades to bring them up to the standard of newer Premier Inn locations. If ever back in the area, this is a hotel I would consider returning to.

- DBDom BMay 26, 20265.0Great little premier inn, staff friendly, rooms clean, temperature good, Location good , Tesco's just 5 mins down the road (15minute walk) Car park will fit large vehicles and parking is free (for the duration of your stay) There is a beefeater next door that does a good pint and breakfast was decent too.

Bit treacherous on foot, though, due to having to cross very busy roads, half of which don't have lights on the pedestrian crossings, so you have to take your life in your hands. There's a Beefeater restaurant attached to the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows, a nice hot shower and plenty of fluffy white towels. The staff are all very helpful and lovely.
