  I had a fantastic stay at The Quayside in Ipswich. I am disabled and was travelling on my own. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful to me. Jack in particular went above and beyond, signing me in, sorting out my car parking, taking my bag up to my room, sorting out my meal and drink … I felt I was in a bespoke hotel ! The evening meal was great and I ordered off the new menu. It was very well cooked and very tasty. The Chef even brought it over to me and checked that I enjoyed it afterwards. The waitress was also really friendly and helpful and made a good wine suggestion. Breakfast was fantastic and the coffee great. My accessible room was enormous and spotless - many thanks to the cleaning staff. All in all I felt I was treated like royalty !

  It's a shame I've had to resort to a 1 star review but I hope this will trigger a response from the staff. I've called over 7 times but no one answered and used the WhatsApp function but got no where. I left an item in the hotel room and wanted to understand how I can get it back but cant get through to anyone. Happy to change my review but please could you make contact, Thanks

  Nicely placed hotel. Close too the quayside. Which has some cafe/bars and restaurants. Not to far from the town centre either.

  Stayed for a week while training in a new job. I was on the 4th floor in a standard room which was spacious, clean and tidy. The only issues I had were with the shower (which seemed to spray in all directions other than down) and another guest clearly smoking in their room and playing music quite loudly. However, this did not affect my stay a great deal. Staff were absolutely brilliant. Jack, who checked me in and served in the restaurant, was friendly, kind and helpful - and seems to do everything! Teale was so bubbly and chatty, and genuinely seemed to care. Hayden was so kind and helpful, advising me on future stays. The staff definitely made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, a good location, nice rooms and I’ve already booked again for future stays.
