- MLMaggie Lloyd3 days ago4.0Strong chemical smell in my room, gave me a headache and I felt queasy every time I returned to my room. The main hotel is rough around the edges, in need of a little tlc. Bed was worn and could use new mattresses. The toilet basin sealant looked like it had been applied by a toddler and just generally looked like it needed a deep clean. Overall, I would stay here if I absolutely had to, but it would not be a first choice.

Like all the others, the Beefeater is closing so many staff had already left. Good service from the ones who were there who all deserve to find great jobs elsewhere.
