First, I want to say that the staff were amazing. Every member of the team we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and did their best to make our stay comfortable.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself fell far below our expectations.
My husband and I stayed for six nights in Room 30, and it was one of the hottest hotel rooms we have ever experienced. The staff kindly provided us with three fans, but despite their efforts, the room remained unbearably hot. We spent every night sweating and were unable to get a proper night’s sleep.
The bathroom was also a major concern. There appeared to be mold and mildew present, likely due to the lack of an exhaust fan and inadequate cleaning. To make matters worse, every time we used the shower, water poured onto the bathroom floor because the shower did not contain the water properly. This constant moisture only seemed to contribute further to the mildew problem.
Housekeeping was disappointing as well. During our six-night stay, our bed sheets were never changed. Given the hot conditions in the room, this was especially unacceptable.
The restaurant food was equally disappointing. The menu seemed overly ambitious, yet the quality of the food was poor. A simpler menu executed well would have been a much better experience.
Cleanliness throughout the room was another issue. There were marks and stains visible on the walls and ceiling that appeared not to have been cleaned or addressed.
While we will not be staying at this location again, I do want to recognize the staff for their efforts. The reception team and other employees did what they could to help us, and they were the highlight of our stay. However, the condition and cleanliness of Room 30, along with the housekeeping standards, need significant improvement. Mold and mildew are not just unpleasant—they can also be a health concern for guests.
I sincerely hope management addresses these issues so future guests have a much better experience.

I need to leave a review about lunch today. It wasn’t up to its usual standard. Menu says all day dining but the waitress (rushed off her feet) had to check if Chef on duty would cook other items off the menu. The same waitress apologised for the delay in our food. The fish finger baguette was in a part baked so it all fell apart. Mum’s skewers weren’t the same as before plus her wait was longer and the dip was a further delay. Garlic bread was over done. Another guest cleaned his own table. Just disappointed today 😞
