  This is the better hotel out of the two Holiday Inns in Ipswich. Good facilities with onside gym (small) and 15m pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Restaurant menu provides a good range with options for those who are calorie conscious or with dietry requirements. There is plenty of parking but avoid the front since the spaces are busy and quite tight. There is additional parking round the back that offers more room and disabled spaces with step free access through rear doors once you have collected you key card. Decoration starting to look a little tired. Rooms are a good size although the bathrooms are on the tight side with the door getting in the way. Rooms are very quiet, your not aware of noise from other guests.

  Wes on reception is an example of the employees you should train too. Nothing was too much trouble, he's friendly, polite, courteous. So pleasant even as we walked past and wasnt interaction with him, letting us know he was there and to enjoy our breakfast. If you have an employee award it should certainly be given to him. Thank you Wes for making

  Large clean rooms. Comfy beds. Good WIFI. Loads of parking. Bar and restaurant. Good breakfast in the morning

  I booked 2 standard rooms not knowing that there will be no fridge in the standard rooms. So I phoned the reception and they transferred me to the kitchen. Excellent service provided by the kitchen staff. It was very hot that weekend. When I explained that there's no fridge and I needed to put the drinks , fruits etc. they offered me to put the stuff in their fridge and when I asked for water they brought a jug of water with ice and said if you need more, anytime let us know and we will bring it free of charge. The room itself was ok. I would say the shower in one of the room was not good enough. Very weak and no settings. I did mentioned at the reception to change the shower head at the earliest. And the bathroom door was not designed properly as lack of space. They should have done byfold doors. Overall they let you use all the facilities like gym services which had pool, sauna, steam, jacuzzi etc. Enjoyed my stay.

  The staff here are a delight. They were all so kind to us during our stay, any request was met with a smile and excellent customer service. The room we stayed in was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool has good natural light and the sauna is very hot. I think the jacuzi could do with some TLC but aside from that 5 star.
