  I came here as a paying customer and a week later received a parking fine accumulating to £100 if I didn't pay up immediately I even entered my correct registration number into the tablet at reception....BE WARNED!!! They cancelled it after alot of messing around and stressfull phone calls but now it really has put me off coming here to use the gym again..

  The hotel is well located for central Ipswich being only a few minutes by car from the centre. It's also on the A12/A14 interchange so useful if travelling from London way or from the west. The staff are really friendly, nothing seems to be too much trouble. Breakfast has a good selection of items, and there is a vast menu for dinner, albeit the chicken burger at dinner was a bit on the crispy side. There is a fitness centre in the hotel with gym and pool, free to residents of the hotel. The room I was in was large, plenty of space to move around in except for the bathroom. In the room I had it was tiny, the door opened across the shower entrance and I had to squeeze at the side of the toilet to be able to shut the door. If I had young kids with me there would be no way to supervise them. As a solo traveller I could make it work but for a family sized room it seems a bit odd. But really, that's my only issue. Everything else was just right.

  It's ok. Their coffee machine seems to be broken every time I go in. They also seem to be out of plant milk with soya as only option, so my experience is always disappointing. The facilities are tired and need a refresh.

  Nice hotel , Paula was extremely helpful and informative, Ben at the bar recommended the double burger which I had and it was good size , Ben at the spa reception was very welcoming Will definitely come back .
