  Went to have a look at the pool no shoe covers provided she let us walk round the pool area in boots wanted to look at the changing rooms and they were filthy all round the toilet area no not for me and very expensive as well

  I booked a short stay with individual I support for last weekend. I intentionally booked a DISABLED ACCESS split room, assuming it would have basic things like a main room light. Individual I support has down syndrome and wears glasses due to being visually impaired. I found this unacceptable, I didnt realise a main room light would need to be a request and didnt come as standard? We only had small, dim lights so we needed to keep the bath room door open to be able to see what we're doing at night. I should think some compensation is due as this was just shocking.

  ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ We stayed at Holiday Inn Rotherham-Sheffield M1, Jct.33 as it was conveniently located for visiting Magna Science Adventure Centre the following day, and for that purpose it worked well. The spa facilities were good and provided a nice way to relax after a long day. The room itself was very large as we'd booked a suite, but it felt surprisingly empty and lacked some of the extras you'd expect from an upgraded room. At one point I joked that I would move the sofa and table near the lift in the lobby into our suite! Unfortunately, we stayed during a spell of 30°C weather and the air conditioning wasn't working properly, which made the room quite uncomfortable at times. The food was decent, but we found it to be on the expensive side compared to similar hotels. Overall, the location and spa were definite positives, but the lacklustre suite and ineffective air conditioning stopped the stay from living up to expectations. A decent hotel, but with room for improvement.

  Good rooms very spacious the staff are kind and this place is perfect if you are on the go beacuse it is near the motorway the reason i am not going to give this 5 stars is beacuse the gym is 16 + the hot tub is 16+ the steam room and sauna are also 16+ this leaves the people under 16 with not a lot to do

  ​We stayed here for a weekend trip to explore Sheffield and the Peak District, and the location was incredibly convenient for getting around. For the most part, the staff were also very friendly and understanding throughout our stay. ​However, there were several issues that held the experience back, mainly because the hotel is simply feeling quite outdated. You can see noticeable cracks in the ceiling, and the bathroom was suboptimal—there were marks on the shower, and a noticeable gap underneath the bedroom door. ​Our biggest frustration, though, was with the room servicing. On one occasion, we were given a towel that had a visible rip in it. More generally, the room servicing was frequently done incorrectly or left incomplete. ​It’s a decent base due to the location and the nice staff, but the property itself is definitely in need of some maintenance and better attention to detail in room care
